[The bubble itself? Kind of cool. Reminds her of how Keimi got them up the mountain at Stela.
But seeing it pop and the girl fall? Well. Rogue hurries over, more than a little concerned.]
Hey. Hey...
You okay? Y' hurt?
no subject
I'm fine...
[She rolls over onto her back, rubbing the side of her head and taking a look at the other young woman.]
Guess I got a little carried away with the whole bubble thing, huh...
no subject
Looked like you were doin' a pretty good job up 'til then, though.

[Korra sits up with some difficulty and pushes the button on her little wand of coral to conjure up another bubble.]
Almost too easy, then you stop paying attention.
[She hesitates for a moment.]
Think you could help me get back on?
no subject
[She checked her gloves. They were still new, didn't totally fit in the way she was used to. So. Long as they were secure, and they were.]
How can I help?
no subject
[She's ashamed to admit it, even if it's been at times painfully obvious in the past week that Korra's legs aren't strong enough to support her weight. They'll get there. It's just taking longer than she would hope.]
no subject
Push against me. Trust me, I can support your weight.
[She's had plenty of training, both with the X-Men and before.]
no subject
Thanks.
no subject
No problem. Happy t' help.
no subject
I'm Korra, by the way.

[Korra starts to idly bounce up and down on her restored bubble. She's found that talking to people can sometimes help her state of mind.]

Still gettin' used t' the whole thing.
no subject
[She's spent nearly a year here, now. Has it really been that long?]
It... took me a while to get used to it. Ace is a little crazy, [not even going to deny that] but the Navy's nuts. So everyone's at least pretty clearly on one side.
no subject
[She can't help but smile just a little.]
no subject
[Something she could commiserate with, really.]
no subject
[She almost smiles as she says it.]
no subject
[Korra's almost-smile matches Rogue's.]

An' he lived up t' the name.
sorry I've been so slow!
[Her voice isn't quite nonchalant, but it's close. She's mostly just tired of thinking about it.]
He almost did it, too.
No prob! I completely understand.
[She understands the exhaustion. It's a kind of camaraderie. The insanity that they've both seen. It's... almost nice, in a way. To know other people came from the same kind of situations.
She doesn't wish it on anyone, but when it's already happened? Well. At least she isn't the odd one out.]
c:
[Then when she had saved the free world, nobody batted an eyelash. Instead, they complained about the spirits who had moved into the city. She couldn't win.]
At least my world isn't the only one loaded with crazy, powerful people.
[Her tone is glum.]
no subject
People with powers just can't win.]
Nice t' know, huh? That at least other people get to deal with the crazies, too.
[And to match Korra's glumness, she resorts to sarcasm.
It's tempting to sulk and be upset. So, Rogue clings to her bitterness.]
