What do you know about kneading bread?

[But she's not gonna let that be end of it!]
Is it difficult to do?

[He grins.]
I've got a lot of bread that needs to be made for our upcoming trip. Wouldn't mind a little help to get a head start on that.

How do I start?

[He sprinkles a little flour on the counter where they'll be working before he goes to the fridge to get some of the dough he'd prepared. He uses a knife to cut off two hunks and hands one to her.]
Put just a little flour on your hands and then roll the dough into a ball. Then grab it with one hand and stretch the rest of it out with the palm of your other hand. Then pull it back into the ball. [He demonstrates.] Then give it a quarter turn and do the same thing: stretch it out, pull it back, and turn. You're going to want to keep this up until it's shiny and stretchy. [He's continuing to work the dough as he speaks.]

Alright, so I just...
[She starts with the flour, then begins to roll it into a ball and to stretch it out.]
Like this?

You want to use more of the heel of your hand when you stretch it out.
[He pushes her hand forward to demonstrate.]
Then pull it back in.
no subject
Okay, let me try it again.
[She does it a second time, this time matching pretty well with Zeff's instructions.]
How was that?
