After visiting so many civilized, fairly normal islands, it's time for the brave crew of the Katabami to go bother more giant animals on Monsuta.

Is there somewhere I could stay then? I was rooming alone because I didn't think anyone would want to stay with me, but if someone is willing it's fine with me.

Claim whatever space below decks you can. I've my own quarters, being captain and all, but aside from what the ladies have partitioned off for themselves, we don't stand too much on ceremony.

[They don't really have separate rooms, but any attempts at closing off space for privacy is generally respected.]

If you want privacy, there's a room that locks, but we set that aside in case we've need of it.

I don't want to intrude. It's fine with everyone else as long as they can tolerate it.

I don't see anyone having an issue. Some of us can be a bit prickly to start with, of course, but it's a good lot I've got on this ship and I can't see them being anything but friendly to you in their own way.

["In their own way" isn't terribly friendly in Mitsunari and Ragna's case most of the time, but everyone's quite used to that by now.]

If someone gives you trouble, either fight it out with them or let me know.

Nonsense! Enough of that attitude, lad. Curses have nothing to do with it, I assure you. If they give you problems, it's on their head, not yours, and if you have to beat their heads in a little to get that across, then that's how it'll have to be.
