Kodachi catch-all!
Kodachi, on some days, could be seen sharing a bonfire amongst the tribe members of the nearest village that she found. They didn't seem to trust her much, but they begrudgingly let her join them because she traded some vegetable seeds with them in exchange for food. If she wasn't at the central bonfire, she was cooking with the women.]
[B:
If anyone doubted that Kodachi had a way with animals, this island would put their uncertainties to rest. She was often found befriending or riding dinosaurs.]
[C:
[Carnivorous plants! Kodachi was just hacking at one with her razor hoop! It had sneakily tried to wrap a vine around her but she caught it in time. It writhed and hissed, and she threw a small cherry bomb into it, shielding herself as it exploded into plant guts and slime.]
[D:
On other days, when she wasn't getting up to mischief, Kodachi could be found on deck. She had a pensive look on her face as she watched the ocean, and was thinking of Anji and Ranma, both of whom had left without warning. It made her sad.]
D
[Motochika joins her at the rail and gives her a concerned look. It's important to him to look out for all of his crew, not just the ones who are likely to set fire to islands if things aren't going their way. That Kodachi had actually done that in the past just made her a bit more of a priority is all. She's usually so lively and he doesn't like seeing her out of sorts.]

I'm just thinking about Anji-san.
[She'd leave Ranma for later discussion.]
His world . . . it's a hostile place, and I'm wondering if he's alright. I hope he comes back soon. He wouldn't have vanished this long without telling us his whereabouts, so Davy Jones must've sent him back.

What's your secret to getting them to like you so much?
no subject
You simply have to let them know that your will is stronger than theirs and that you won't hurt them.
[It snapped at Yasaburo, and she let out a "tsk tsk" noise. The dinosaur subsided.]

Ragna Catchall
[The storm started unexpectedly, and while he was still out in the open, of course. Getting soaking wet isn't something Ragna enjoys, much less when the rain's kind of... odd. He doesn't know where the pink color came from, and frankly, doesn't want to find out. Regardless, he can now be found beneath the deck, wringing out his jacket and cursing under his breath.]
What kinda shit was that, some sorta soda? Tch, it'd better wash off...
[Come here, crew. Let him love you. Or hate you, though that's nothing unusual.]
b. jurassic park adventures
[Unbearable heat. Insects. Plants that try to eat him. Small raptor-like thingies thinking it's extremely funny to jab his ankles when he's passing by.
Overall, this place is a hell.
The Grim Reaper has been making his way through the forest for quite a while now, hacking the branches in his way, grumbling as he does. He doesn't think he can find anything interesting or even remotely useful here, so at this point he just carries on for the sake of letting off some steam rather than genuinely hoping to reach some destination.]
... Being stuck on a goddamn boat for weeks ain't so bad when you get a decent meal and place to sleep afterwards, but nooo, we have to end up in some stupid jungle. Par for the friggin' course...
[He'd probably continue with his complaints, but that's when he cuts through bushes obscuring his view, only to find himself face to face with a... stegosaurus.]
WHAT THE HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELL?!
[The dinosaur barely spares the yelling man a glance, busy with its lunch and not finding him flailing overly interesting even when he falls back, stumbling in shock. Meanwhile Ragna gapes at the animal, opening his mouth and closing it repeatedly while his mind tries to catch up with the situation.]
c. meeting the natives
[Just when Ragna thought matter couldn't possibly get worse... they did, just as usual. The natives aren't very friendly towards strangers, and the Grim Reaper in particular managed to trample his chances of gaining their trust early on when they witnessed him using his Drive to knock out a bunch of dinosaurs that made the mistake of trying to make him into his dinner. The sight of beast-shaped shadows sending the predators flying would make about anyone wary of their source, especially a primitive culture like the one present on the island.
Which is why they decided to surround the man, pointing their spears and glaring suspiciously at him.]
Guess a warm welcome's outta question...
[Ragna groans in response, reaching for his Blood-Scythe. Negotiations have never been an option for him, so persuading him killing what is probably half of the local tribe is not a good solution would probably be advised.]
C
He's mostly harmless!
[The natives looked at her suspiciously as well before lowering their spears a fraction.]
I traded some seeds and vegetables with them, so they're nice to me.
[She glanced back at Ragna, arching a brow at him and giving him a smile.]

October 2nd onward!
[Well hello there, there's a visitor at the Nav. Perhaps less a visitor and more a permanent resident considering he has a bag slung over his shoulder. Natsuno isn't sure what to do so he hovers around the Nav uncertainly.]
[Beyond~]
[Come meet the new vampire. He's sullen, moody and lurking around the ship. He probably won't go to Monsuta since he's settling in. He can be found practicing his swordplay on the deck in the early mornings and in the evening she might be lurking around the crow's nest, always a favourite of his.]
10/2
Yo-chan, sit.
[Giant armadillos don't really make the best guard dogs (even though that's how big the beast has gotten at this point), so Yo-chan is content to hunker down and gnaw on a maggoty piece of hardtack from the bag Motochika keeps tied to the armadillo pen while his master sorts the situation out.]
Come for a visit, lad?
[He's fairly certain he knows who this is, though he's never met him in person. And if he's right, he can pretty easily guess at the reason for his arrival.]

Mitsunari Catchall
B. At some point, Mitsunari came across a massive waterfall emptying into an equally vast lake. There are many herbivorous dinosaurs to be found around here, not to mention the
lake monstersplesiosaurs that can be seen breaching the surface of the water. If you've ever wanted to get a look at a real life Nessie, now's your chance. Even Mitsunari is stunned by all that he's seeing in this place. It's hard to be apathetic about dinosaurs.C. Strictly speaking, the archeopteryx is not a dinosaur. But it was alive in the Jurassic period, or so Wikipedia tells me, so it's fair game. Anyway, one got curious and has just landed right on Mitsunari's shoulder. Guess how happy he is about that.]

Motochika Catchall
[During the storm, Motochika, of course, doesn't have the sense to stay out of the rain. He's on deck trying to shoo the stupid turkey into the covered part of its pen because the damn thing is going to drown itself if he doesn't. He doesn't really stop to think about the fact that he's likely to find himself in a similar situation, or at least end up sick and miserable.
Or cursed.]
[B]
[This island isn't so different from Yo-chan's home, so Motochika is taking his precious darling for a walk. The armadillo has gotten to be the size of a fairly large dog, so this is a bit more of a challenge than it used to be. They can also be found playing fetch with what appears to be some some sort of dinosaur bone. Hopefully they won't upset any of its relatives...]

[Motochika is sizing up a nest of little winged dinosaurs. Please stop him.]

GBUEH!
[The Grim Reaper falls to the ground, knocked back by the impact. It takes him a short moment to regain his focus because god, the pain in his skull won't go away... Does he have some sort of Gravity Seed he isn't aware of installed on him or what? It sure feels this way, considering how about every piece of shit that gets thrown in any direction lands on him.]
Just my luck... [He grunts under his breath, reaching for the source of his misery.] A... bone? Where the eff did that come fro─
[Unfortunately, he doesn't get to finish that thought as he feels a threat looming over him. Quite literally, in fact.]
GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
[As his scream rolls across the island, startling every living creature, a swarm of archeopteryx launches into the air from the bush. Such is the power of the sound of Ragna the Bloodedge getting slammed into by an armadillo monster.]

Yasaburo, Open
Of course the first thing Yasaburo tried doing was taking the form of a dinosaur. But that ended up quickly backfiring. He still smelled, to their sensitive noses, like something small and mammalian. So, whether from jealousy over that whole comet thing or simple hunger, one could see Acchilobator!Yasaburo being menaced by two of the genuine article. This may be the first time you've seen a six foot tall predator with a giant knife on its foot look nervous.
[2]
He's had considerably more success with the humans of the island though. He's quickly wormed his way into their little tribe through a combination of charisma and trickery. You can see his pale, gangly form dancing around the fire with them as they drum.
1
It probably wasn't wise to meddle in the affairs of giant lizard things, but wisdom was never Motochika's strong suit. He rattled the chain on his anchor again, trying to catch the attention of the creatures. He wasn't too keen on watching the native wildlife tear each other apart. Not the cheeriest way to spend an afternoon.

October 11, Onward!? Haruka Nanami Catchall!
Haruka had gathered a few of her personal effects, before taking the Nav over to the Katabami. Slung over her back was a rather long bag. It only contained her keyboard- a must! -then she held a smaller bag with clothes, sheet music, her journal and other miscellaneous items. The shard her previous crew had obtained was tucked safely under her shirt. It had been fashioned into a necklace some time ago and she never took it off. It was one of the last mementos that proved the Koumyou had ever existed in this world and she wasn't planning on announcing it was still in her possession any time soon.
Once she had naved over.. well.. Haruka kind of stood sheepishly by the nav, unsure of where she should go, or who she should speak to first. She didn't want to presume that she was free to roam wherever she liked. Things might operate differently on a different ship.
"Ex-excuse me?" She squeaked out, hoping someone would hear her or notice her in order to send her in the right direction. Was she too early? Were they expecting her yet? These were the kinds of thoughts that raced through her mind as she stood there.
II.
Even though she'd only just arrived there was no telling when there would be another opportunity to visit this island. Haruka could be found on the island looking in awe of the vast amounts of foliage, or kneeling down to nudge some bits of pottery. There had obviously been people who lived here at some point... where were they now?
[
It's totally possible that during this trip, dinosaurs could show up and shenanigans could ensue]I.
"Haruka?" she called, as she approached.
She wore a smile as she stopped before Haruka. With her elbows bent, Xun Yu raised her arms to chest height, curled her right hand into a fist and covered it with her left hand -- a traditional salute which also served as greeting.
"Welcome aboard the Katabami."

Motochika bent over to try to better see what Haruka was poking at while the parrot perched on his shoulder flapped his wings excitedly, squawking "Motochika! Treasure! Treasure!" The first mate had quite the nose for treasure, despite being a bird and not actually having a nose.
"Seems like something worthwhile if Pi-chan is making such a fuss over it."
