"The men and women have seperate spaces, as propriety requires. The Captain has his own quarters, of course," she explained. "Aside from us there is one other woman... our cook, Kodachi."
Honestly, Xun Yu wasn't entirely certain on how much of the Katabami crew's personalities she ought to discuss. They could be rowdy and rough at times, though as crew there was little danger that they genuinely presented to Haruka.
She came to a stop in their living quarter and gestured for Haruka to choose a spot to unburden herself of her possessions.
"...If you find yourself overwhelmed by any of your crewmates, please don't hesitate to come to me. Some can be a little... uncivil, and the men especially enjoy brawling with each other. You're quite safe, but I'm afraid they're not as... thoughtful as you are used to."
There was a reason that she used to correspond with Mitsuhide for genteel company -- aside from herself, delicacy and understatement were quite absent here. Which was not to say that it was unpleasant aboard, only very lively and occasionally rough.
