The storm hit while they were two days out from the island. It would take all hands on deck to keep the Nightfury from capsizing, good thing they have a couple of solid dragons to keep things in check. Just watch out for Gaius and his fiery pendant! By the time the storm blows out in the wee hours on the 4th, the charts put them drifting near to Eternal Bliss. Are the residents still pissed at pirates for what Kodachi did? Who cares, they need to land to make repairs. And maybe score some treasure, if anyone wants to go through the marriage requirement.

...so long as it doesn't get any hotter, I think that's the best place for it. First the glowing then the noise and now this. I really hope the next thing it does isn't to explode.

Eesh. Yeah, uh. Maybe best to keep it somewhere that it won't do too much damage if it does. But ya don't wanna lose it overboard, either, and the ship's pitchin' too much to keep anything on deck.

Maybe throw more water in and clamp the lid on? Saw someone mentioning the glowing but I don't know if the catching things on fire's a common thing. Although if the thing ends up exploding, how are we expected to collect them all?

If we're talking omens I would've thought that all started with the sun being a no-show that first day.

Yeah, I already thought the same thing. Omen-wise, I mean.

Uh. Sure, I guess that'll work. Maybe lock it in one of the spare cabins, while you're at it, so that if it blows the lid off it won't kill anyone in a twenty-foot range.

Heh! If the Navy comes after us for it, it don't matter who's got it on their person. Not to knock her creatures but as smart as they are, I'd rather a person had it either way.
