The storm hit while they were two days out from the island. It would take all hands on deck to keep the Nightfury from capsizing, good thing they have a couple of solid dragons to keep things in check. Just watch out for Gaius and his fiery pendant! By the time the storm blows out in the wee hours on the 4th, the charts put them drifting near to Eternal Bliss. Are the residents still pissed at pirates for what Kodachi did? Who cares, they need to land to make repairs. And maybe score some treasure, if anyone wants to go through the marriage requirement.

Pirates are just bandits on the water, kid! Same thing. I been in this line of work a long time, and a habit's a habit.

My crew doesn't have all that much treasure. Sometimes I just conjure up fake coins if I'm in a bind and need to purchase something. [SIGH.] Not a position I've ever been in before, let me tell you. I think Miss Margie would see right through it, though. So I haven't tried it with her.

Bad luck, eh? We must be takin' all the good stuff, we're on great terms with Margie and we got buttloads of treasure. Not a bad life for bein' so far from home.

Not so much bad luck as it's just not something we've been looking for. My crew is less about, I don't know, adventures, and more about trying to figure this world out.
