With the nightmares finally subsided, the Spades weigh anchor at the next island. Thankfully, the entire thing is full of water parks! Your generous Commanders will find a way to work out a deal with one of the medium sized parks on the waterfront for an extended stay pass- discounted, of course, since they'll be buying in bulk, but if you want to go to the other ones you'll do it on your own coin- or have to sneak in. Make sure to read the island description, there's a TON of things to do here! Catchalls, dated threads, etc, whatever. Just jump in, have fun, and to hell with fiddly particulars. I have no idea how long we'll be here.

Just what is this place?! Why are there so many people here wearing just their underwear? Leanne was blushing quite a bit at all of the skin that was showing. What was worse than that was the fact that the park attendants was quite insistent that she wears something that resembles underwear (red one) to her. She can be seen wondering around, trying to use her wings to cover herself and to get her dress back from the attendants.

[Beach]

Leanne can be found lazing about along the beach, close to the waters wearing not her usual dress but a much lighter one. It was a sheer dress that catches all of the failing light of the sun just right to shine and sparkle. She doesn't quite like the large crowds of beorcs and all of the flirty men of the islands. But it was still a much better island than others they have visited.

[The Halloween event did not put Naesala in a very good place. He spent several days thinking Leanne was dead as dead can be, and he's been really holding back since the revelation that no, she's perfectly fine, this world is just a dick.

Trying to keep track of Leanne is a nightmare in and of itself, though. He normally trusts her when she decides to go off on her own, but after a while in this - admittedly fascinating but baffling place - he decides to look for her. They really need some time together, anyway.

He's taken off most of his elaborate coverings like his cape and overshirt, but still stands with long black sleeves on a tropical waterpark island. When he comes across her, he sees her wings first, and tries not to sound too eager when he calls out,] Leanne!

[And then, um. Realizes. And stops.]

[Halloween was not a good time for anyone.... It was so horrible for at least two of the birds, Naesala with his dark thoughts and Leanne having to feel all the chaotic emotions that everyone was going through.

Green eyes widen instantly at the sound of Naesala's voice, her wings couldn't help but to perk up and..... Wow, he sounded really eager.... Normally she would turn around and go to him at once but she couldn't help but to crouch, blushing quite a bit.

Oh goddess.... What is he gonna think of her in this underwear?!? She much blushing before moving slowly to stand back up and moving her wings again to cover herself as she heads in Naesala's direction.]

You are here. [Please help her.]

[On one hand, he's picked up the concept of "swimsuits" and that the beorc do not, in fact, run around in their underclothes. This is socially acceptable behavior. Fine, sure. Gotcha.

On the other hand, seeing Leanne in one of them is... Well, nice, yes, because even if they've been taking it slow as per his request, Naesala can't ignore seeing her in something so unusual for her. But troubling, given that she is so obviously uncomfortable. Did one of the beorc women on the crew urge her to do this? Did she change into one herself and is just being shy? Did someone force this on her?

Right. Get a hold of yourself. First thing's first. Safety takes priority. Instinctively, he uses his own wings to help shield her as she comes closer.] What's happened? Are you alright?

[Yay! More protection from anyone's eyes! Leanne gives Naesala a small nod of thanks, still blushing.]

Some of the people who run this place.... They were quite.... [How to say it nicely.] 'Insistent' that I wear this while I am here and took my dress. I feel naked wearing this.

[For one thing... HER LEGS ARE SHOWING! BEYOND HER ANKLES IS SHOWING!] Why do beorcs wear such things?

"Insistent"? [oh hell naw] What do you mean they "took" your dres--

[He grumbles and runs a hand over his face.] It's swim-wear. Beorc wear these kinds of things when they go swimming. But they shouldn't have-- [Yeah. Yep. Those sure are Leanne's bare legs.]

[what was he saying] Where were these attendants? I'm getting your dress back.

[She relaxes her wings while still under his shielding.]

Exactly what I mean, Naesala. But it looks like underwear.....

[She blinks when she felt his eyes somewhere besides her face.]

They were back there. [And okay, a small smile up at him.] Thank you Naesala...

[Anything he feels about her in this outfit is second to just how uncomfortable she looks. In front of the beorc. He doesn't know if she's embarrassed for him to see her like this.]

I know it does. I promise you it's not.

[He starts to move away in the direction Leanne had indicated, but stops. Because his wings. And the shield.]

Are you alright if you wait here, or would you like to come with me while I politely talk to these employees?

[It is a mixture of embarrassment for him seeing her like this but mainly for the fact that other males are also seeing her like this.]

..... Alright, I will trust you.

..... [Okay, she doesn't trust the way he said politely but... He needs his time to shine like a knight and be her hero. She goes to nod her head slightly and goes back to cupping herself with her wings.]

I can wait here for you, Naesala. [Go and get them, hunny was very much left unspoken.]

[Reluctantly, he leaves her where she is and uses his now-free wings to carry him to these attendants. Bargaining and haggling are some of his greatest specialties. But that's too nice. Human intimidation is a slightly lesser specialty, but a fun one. Thievery is probably the best of them all.

So really, any of these is fair game.

A...suspiciously short time later, Naesala returns to Leanne with his trademark smirk back in place and her dress neatly folded over one arm. A good return to his roots helped his mood some, go figure. He stands politely and holds the dress out to her, dramatically bowing.]

Your dress, my Princess.

[She nods her head when he moves his wings away from her and she uses her own wings now to try and cover herself better. She lets out a silent prayer that it won't take him long....

Wow, that was fast but she wasn't complaining as she sees that he has her dress. Her wings instantly goes to perk up which ends up showing her in the swimsuit.]

Thank you, my handsome King. [She takes the dress and leans forward to give him a kiss on the cheek.] Really thank you, Naesala.

Beach

[is further up the beach but spots her from behind. Well he has things for her in any case. He whistles for her, faintly, hoping to just catch her ears with beautiful songs but not make her turn just yet]

[Leanne blinks at the sound of his whistling.]

[She does move briefly to get up but then goes to just lay down in the sand, spreading her wings to feel the warm sand against them.]

[so cute birdie sunning herself abububu. His whistles grow more cheerful as he draws closer and then he stands above her, careful not to block out the sun]

May I join you, gorgeous?

Hey man, what is the point of being at the beach if you cannot enjoy yourself! Leanne giggles as he speaks, tilting her head up towards him.

"Yes, you may join me, brother."

He goes to sit beside her. A straw box on his lap and two drinks in his hand. One is rum, the other is cool refreshing coconut water with an umbrella in it.

"Thirsty, sweetheart?"

[Rose herself is enjoying the beach by walking along near the edge of the water wearing her own swimsuit. And from the looks of it, she's also been in the water considering that her hair is still wet. She spots Leanne and waves as she gets closer.]

Hello, Leanne. Are you enjoying yourself?

[Leanne blinks and perks her wings up at both the sight and scent of Rose approaching.]

At last I am.... It's too crowded in there. [Makes a brief gesture towards the park itself.]

[Rose gives a bit of a nod.]

Understandable. That is mainly the reason why I left that park. [That and she was very close to being kicked out due to almost punching a guy.]

She blinks before going to let out a soft chuckle.

"I would never imagine you being the type to enjoy a place anyways."
