With the nightmares finally subsided, the Spades weigh anchor at the next island. Thankfully, the entire thing is full of water parks! Your generous Commanders will find a way to work out a deal with one of the medium sized parks on the waterfront for an extended stay pass- discounted, of course, since they'll be buying in bulk, but if you want to go to the other ones you'll do it on your own coin- or have to sneak in. Make sure to read the island description, there's a TON of things to do here! Catchalls, dated threads, etc, whatever. Just jump in, have fun, and to hell with fiddly particulars. I have no idea how long we'll be here.

Haruta - Catch All

[A: The Sun]
[She wont be on ship long. That was the worst voyage in a while. Too many nightmares too many triggers and all she wanted to do was stretch her legs and get some sun and fun. You CAN find her on the Sun to rest, sleep, get some alone time, or catch a bit of food from their fab cook. In general, you COULD catch her here for a chat or two. Through out the time they are at shore. On occasion you could find her hauling gifts or supplies up as well.]

[B: Surfing!]
[You better believe it. Board shorts in a black with emerald island flowers on them, and a dark tank top. What else did you need for a water world? She's sporting these and a few other designs most this trip, but right now? Board shorts... to go with a matching emerald board. A rent a board of course, with orange bar trip around the edges, well waxed and ready.]

[You can find her in the water, sitting on the board and chilling, or actually hitting a wave, thin legs bent perfectly and hanging ten. If you're not the surfing type and want to talk anyhow? She'll come into shore after a while. Haruta is out here once a day every day that they are here. She might buy the board...]

[C: Water park!]
[Captain, or someone else, had managed to get extended tickets to this one park, and hell, she was going to use them. water parks were pretty awesome. So either catch her at a tube, or sitting in a beach chair, laying back and shirt pulled up a bit so her belly can catch some sun. Still board shorts and a tank, unless you can convince her otherwise!]

[C: Onsen Sanctuary!]
[catch her in the lift going up the hill, chilling and watching the scenic view. Or catch her at the top making an order for a massage, or would you care to join her for a mud bath? Are you already there? maybe she will join others! Either way, she is going to spend some cash and work the stress out of her body. If not here? Then the hot springs for a nice bath.]

[Honestly, she's going to enjoy the hell out of this place.]

[So at the water park they have these things called sno-cones. They smell- well, they smell like shit, really. If they used to be something alive it was long ago. But Namur's trying one anyway, a bit of a holdover from when he was a human and could actually taste things in his mouth rather than around it.

He is also wearing a blindfold, in order to practice Observation Haki. He does pretty good getting around living things, but dead things that have no voice nor aura have been tripping him up.

Like... sno-cones. He's having a hard time keeping the damn thing upright.]

Hey Haruta! How's the park?

[Splortch! The sno-cone drops right onto Haruta's exposed belly.]

[he is having slight problems but he won't tell anyone that. He'd pretty much holed himself up in his room due to the Halloween thing because darkness had been everywhere and he'd been afraid he'd consume even himself. But now he's relaxing in a mud bath, trying to get some of the tension to go away, but he tenses as he hears someone come in, turning to look and relaxing as he sees Haruta. And he slides down up to his neck]

Is Froggy coming a'courting?

[Ace lounged next to Haruta with an adventure book he had borrowed from another guest. He seemed to be trying to read it, but he would occasionally kick his feet up, roll over and fall asleep--totally unable to do it.]

Logan - Catch All

[A: The Moon!]
[Logan isn't much of a water park person, so you CAN find him on deck a lot, with Pryde. He'll be taking charge to gather supplies as he can, mostly helping Zeff with kitchen supplies if he needs it.]

[B: Beaches!]
[you CAN catch him out on the beaches, walking along and trying to get his head on right. All those nightmares had Jean more active no then normal and he's just not in a good place for that. At least a beach is calming.]

[Come, find him walking or sitting on the beach, bare footed, in jeans with the ankles wet. He wont mind the company, swear! Pryde is out with him, by the way! She's sticking close lately.]

[C: Water park!]
[WHY is he here? One of the commanders (name withheld) told him he needed to go, at least once. So he's here. He's watching. He's having a drink while sitting at a stool and watching OTHERS play in the park. Dare him to go down a tube, I dare YOU. See if any of you can get him into the water. He IS in some long shorts and topless. He CAN get wet, right?]

[C: Hot Springs!]
[He heard there was a hot springs up here. Honestly, he liked the Japanese style hot springs... when you didn't have two or three little old ladies dressed up and scrubbing the first four layers of skin off your back side. He was never going to let that one lay or go away. Anyone comes in offering to scrub brush his skin away and he's lighting the place on fire. He doesn't even have that power.]

[Still, he's there. In a hot spring, leaning back and relaxing for a bit. This? This he can handle. The hot water feels great. There's plenty of room for others, so come relax with him. ]

[After another little field trip away, Rogue is back where she belongs. Safe and sound with the Spades. Better a little (slightly awkward) trip to see Gambit than laying everyone on all their ships out multiple times to make sure they were who they said they were.

The nightmares and ever-present paranoia have her a little more withdrawn than usual, and the idea of a water park... Yeah. Not really her thing.

So the Moon? Is a great place to hide out.

Especially when she sees Pryde around. The cat's definitely gotten on her good side, and she drops her hand to pet the lynx when she wanders close enough to where Rogue's laid out on the deck, getting a bit of sun, despite how covered up she is. And if Pryde's around? Logan's not gonna be far behind. She knows that.]

I see you're shirking your responsibility, brother. [eyes him, though his exact expression is difficult to tell as it's hidden behind sunglasses] Someone will take care of that for you if you don't do it first. [sips his own beer]

[Oddly enough, the staff at the Hot Springs had merely given Namur a quizzical look, like people give when they're trying to decide if you're someone they know or not, but let him in without fuss or trouble. He's been hanging out in some of the deeper springs, gulping gillfuls of warm mineral water. He can tell it's got some kind of mineral in it his body needs, because it tastes a hell of a lot better than water that ain't the ocean has any right to taste. So he winds up with his arms propped against the seat along the side, his head resting mostly submerged on top of his arms, so only the top of his head and his fin poke out of the water, rocking gently from side to side.

He senses Logan slip into the spring and languidly rises up enough to talk without difficulty.]

Hell of a journey, huh? Sheheh! Glad we wound up somewhere like this for a change. 'S nice like Serenes without the shitty plants tryin' t' murder me, sheheheheheh!

[Ace would stand next to Logan for the better part of the day, saying very little as he watched his crew-mate grump up the place. Sometimes, he would be wearing a funny hat, experimenting with new styles as he looked to just keep the guy company without bothering him--since, well, everyone else had already been doing that.]

Namur Catchall

[It's high time Namur do a bit of training of his own, so this time around, he'll be wearing a blindfold around the island, in order to better tap into his own Observation Haki. Anything that lives, he'll be able to move around with deftness. Unfortunately, there are a lot of things that don't live. Like walls, or cliffs, or furniture.

Undaunted, Namur will roam far and wide on this island. The beaches are gorgeous, for one thing, the warm waters teeming with life- delicious life. Join him for the most intense fishing you've ever tried, or maybe do a little surfing with a shark fishman lifeguard. Swimming is just fine, too. He's having a lot of fun at the water park, whooping like a maniac as he runs at the slides and skids down head-first on his stomach, arms tucked in against his sides for speed. At the bottom he simply ducks his head and slips under the water so his fin cuts through the water and minimizes his wake. He'll find time to visit the hot springs at least once, but the price is pretty steep and water's water, it doesn't really matter if you put other shit in it or not. He can be found frequenting any number of shitty bars along the bay and might raise a little hell among the fish at the aquarium. He could even be talked into hiking up the back side of the island into the forest. Really, he's getting around. Run into him, or laugh as he runs into a wall.]

[they were shitty bars. The drinks were okay though and some of the waitresses were nice to look at. Thatch looks up as Namur's giant shadow fills the door and not a few people shrink back from it. But he waves a hand]

Morning, brother. Can I buy you a drink?

[Riding on the back of a big bear with a scar over one eye, Ace followed Namur around in the forest. Occasionally, he'd fall asleep, rousing himself and shouting obscenities.

He might have started that little adventure out on the drunk side of town.]

Selphie Catchall!

A] The Beach

After such distressing times as she's had lately, Selphie has taken herself to the beach. During daylight hours she can be found stretched out on a towel on the sand, often with some lemonade and snacks. She's got a paperback book with her too. Mostly, though, she'll be lying on her back or her stomach, catching the sun in her red and white polka dot bikini.
In the evening, she is marginally more covered up in a sheer dress as she goes in search of a nice beach bar for a stronger drink.

B] Aquariam
Selphie can spend hours in the aquariam - there's a lot to see. She's either gazing in wonder at the various sea creatures, or waiting anxiously for her turn to hold or feed this or that crab, fish, or otter.

C] Water Park
You might catch Selphie heading towards one of the water parks for the day, ready for a day of fun and throwing herself down flumes and river rapids. Care to join her?

D] Onsen Sanctuary
While Selphie uhms and ahhs about spending money on some of the more expensive treatments, she soaks and relaxes in one of the hot springs, eyes closed, allowing herself to sink into dizzy daydreams. She just has to watch that she doesn't fall asleep like she did last time in one of these things.

Haruta was at the hot spring, waiting her turn for a massage and mud bath. She hears they’re pretty fantastic here. but first a bath to clean and open pores and relax and all that great stuff. So the tomboy is in the girls hot spring, slinking into the water and grinning as she saw Selphie zoning out over there. She tucked a towel on the top of her head and sank down on a stone seat beside Selphie. “Don’t fall asleep. Drowning in a hot spring has to be a bad way to go.”

[at some point he'll come up behind her, drink in his hand as he intends to get thoroughly blasted while he's here. Though slowly. Methodically. It's a drunken state he is fermenting with coconut wine, schnapps and not too bad rum]

My darling Selphie. [would put an arm around her shoulders but since she's so short just sort of dangles a hand over one] Find anything delicious?

[hiken]

[Ace watched Selphie run up the steps to the slides, go down them and run back up them ten times before saying a thing. He seemed a bit bitter about his own inability to participate in the festivities--]

[At some point in the early afternoon, Namur makes his way out of the waves and flops down with his arm over Selphie, then proceeds to almost go to sleep.]

Leanne has never been to an hot spring before and decided to follow after Selphie, desiring the other girl's company. Within the spring itself, she moves to the opposite side that Selphie is on in order to spread her wings in the marvelous water to let it sound every inch of her.

A) The Moon

[Rose has just about been avoiding most of the crew since her private message to them. She still is not sure what some of them may feel about her being around. So while on the ship she will mainly stick to doing her chores, like repairing the door of her room that a certain shark broke, and keeping to herself.]

B) The Beach

[Again, keeping mostly to herself, Rose can be found at the beach, and holy crap, she's actually wearing a bikini! Though, that means you can see a bruise right on her stomach, again, thanks to a certain shark but she doesn't seem to mind it.

[While on the beach she is either under an umbrella, walking along the shore, or actually going for a swim.]

C) Water Park!

[Rose eventually does go to the water park since a ticket was given to her. Though she wonders about the whole point of the park. It all seems rather silly to her. She eyes some of the slides not too sure if she even wants to try them]

D) Aquarium

[The Aquarium seems interesting to Rose, since it is not something that she's seen back in her own world. Being able to see sea life without getting wet is actually quite pleasant.]

[he has been avoiding Rose for various reasons, the least of which is her private message as he was not in the position to deal with it. He was walking along the beach, trying to shake off the feeling that he was being dragged down in an undertow, when he spotted her. He kept going, in enough control not even to pause like he wanted, and saluted her lazily with one hand]

Afternoon. Care for a beer? [and he offers her one of the bottles he'd been saving for later]

[Ace sat on a floating ring in the water, his feet hanging out of it as he wore a fairly dull expression on his face. When Rose began to pass by, he raised his head up and looked at her, giving her a weak wave.

Having parts of his body in the water made him weaker, so he didn't have much energy to properly greet her.]

Thatch Catchall

[A: The Moon Thatch is spending time there, repairing things and going over supply logs. His office is open, as it were, so if you have any problems, now is the time.

B: The Beach He's sunning himself on a blanket, wearing shades, shorts and reading a book about astronomical wonders. He also has a drink or five shoved into the sand nearby. If you're thinking he's planning to get quietly sloshed, you're thinking right.

C: The Bars Sitting there. Getting drunk. Contemplating perhaps starting a sing along. You'd be right.

[Ace was looking over his own little adventure book, reading it with a furrowed brow. It looked as if it was taking everything in him to focus, occasionally stealing glances at Thatch, wondering how he could do it, himself.]

Bonfire Night

[what's a beach without a bonfire? Not much of a beach at all! One night, Thatch puts together a gigantic bonfire, with food, beer, schmoozing, dancing, and generally having a party under the stars.]

[Namur's put aside his blindfold, since you have to be able to see where you're landing if you intend to dance not land flat on your face. It takes him a few songs to really pick it up, but then he feels tension seeping out of his muscles and out of his mind, freeing his movements and letting the rhythm determine where he goes. Sand isn't ideal for full on breakdance, to be sure, but he can halfway it pretty well by fusing more popular moves in.

Once people have eaten and drank their fill and the moon gets close to its zenith, Namur stretches and joins the rest of the crew by the campfire, sniffing to make sure everyone is still there.]

Not a bad party, eh? Sheheheh! Let's hear it for Thatch!

Nami Catchall

[Water Park]
[Nami had no idea that places like this even existed. It was strange, but to be honest? She was a little excited, especially with being surrounded by so much water. She'd show these surface dweller how to really make some waves and-

Oh hey, was that a water slide? She had never been on one, and it looked to go pretty high up.

... Nami just kept on staring at it.]


[Aquarium]
[Nami makes her way inside and almost instantly, all the fish just gravitate towards her. She's used to the attention, but the mermaid laughs either way.

She taps on the glass panel a few times and waves at all her new friends.]

Hi, guys!

[But as she looks around, she can't help but wonder:]

Hmmm, can't find the entrance.


[Onsen]
[Nami had heard the crew talk about this, so of course, she had become curious about it herself. It all seemed pretty elaborate, though relaxing as well. Unsurprisingly, she had never been to such a building before, and was at a loss over what she was supposed to do. There was water everywhere, that much she could see. But why were they were also playing music?

And what was with the smell?

In any case, she was here now and it seemed like there was so much she could do! Maybe a bit too much...]

Where am I supposed to start?

[Ace simply stood behind Nami, eating a rapidly diminishing popsicle as she looked over the Aquarium.]

They cut the ceiling at the top, so you'd have to sneak in back.

Leanne's catchall!

[Waterpark]

Just what is this place?! Why are there so many people here wearing just their underwear? Leanne was blushing quite a bit at all of the skin that was showing. What was worse than that was the fact that the park attendants was quite insistent that she wears something that resembles underwear (red one) to her. She can be seen wondering around, trying to use her wings to cover herself and to get her dress back from the attendants.

[Beach]

Leanne can be found lazing about along the beach, close to the waters wearing not her usual dress but a much lighter one. It was a sheer dress that catches all of the failing light of the sun just right to shine and sparkle. She doesn't quite like the large crowds of beorcs and all of the flirty men of the islands. But it was still a much better island than others they have visited.

[The Halloween event did not put Naesala in a very good place. He spent several days thinking Leanne was dead as dead can be, and he's been really holding back since the revelation that no, she's perfectly fine, this world is just a dick.

Trying to keep track of Leanne is a nightmare in and of itself, though. He normally trusts her when she decides to go off on her own, but after a while in this - admittedly fascinating but baffling place - he decides to look for her. They really need some time together, anyway.

He's taken off most of his elaborate coverings like his cape and overshirt, but still stands with long black sleeves on a tropical waterpark island. When he comes across her, he sees her wings first, and tries not to sound too eager when he calls out,] Leanne!

[And then, um. Realizes. And stops.]
