Meeting of the Minds
Who: Everyone who chooses to participate
Where: Breakneck Cay
When: December 5th
What: A summit to get down to business and get this situation sorted out, L-Elf-style
Warnings: Possible violence?
Style: Any
Status: Open
Upon arriving on Breakneck Cay, if you can navigate the shoals safely and find safe mooring, you'll notice that the beach is more or less abandoned unless you count the countless shipwrecks an snarled piles of debris strewn across the shore. If you approach the jungle, you'll notice a makeshift sign pointing towards a path leading into the trees. There's a lengthy note tacked to it with a detailed map, an exhaustive list of rules and etiquette for participating in a military summit, and probably more if anyone actually got past the part with the map.
The meeting is to be held in a strangely silent clearing. Upon arriving, you'll find L-Elf sitting on the huge stone in the center, fast asleep. It's immediately obvious that this is not a social occasion or it at least wasn't planned by someone with any idea how to make guests feel comfortable. There's nowhere to sit except on the ground and definitely no refreshments. It might be a good idea to send someone back to the ship to pick something up if you want to make it through this thing.

[He tilts his head at that comment, as though expecting further explanation.]
no subject
Ah, hello there.
no subject
[Another head tilt. He's not sure if England will understand him, but since he seems to have familiarity with mythical creatures, it's worth a shot.]
You've been to pirate summits before?
no subject
Well not a pirate summit, exactly, but certainly large meetings of people who like to hear themselves talk and bicker a lot.
[Kettle, this is pot.]
International politics. Unfortunately, most of my colleagues are idiots.
no subject
Aye, that sums up my experience with politics as well, yoi. Many emperors are idiots, and kings are even worse.
I wouldn't normally have come here either, but my friend might need my help, so I am here to watch over him.
no subject
[He huffed, folding his arms over his chest.]
Well, someone with experience had to come.
no subject
[As for the last part Marco nods.] And keep Grell's commanding presence from dominating the whole discussions? [A playful grin. As much as Marco and Thatch might be more than willing to let her do just that, it wasn't necessarily the most conducive to productivity.]
no subject
My captain is indeed a fine example of a strong willed English lady.
no subject
[A blink of surprise, but more impressed than fear.]
no subject
And judging by some of the Queens I've served under, redheads are the fiercest.
no subject
They are like that in my world as well.
no subject
Britannia was a redhead as well.
no subject
[Head tilt!]
no subject
[Has a fond smile.]
