Meeting of the Minds
Who: Everyone who chooses to participate
Where: Breakneck Cay
When: December 5th
What: A summit to get down to business and get this situation sorted out, L-Elf-style
Warnings: Possible violence?
Style: Any
Status: Open
Upon arriving on Breakneck Cay, if you can navigate the shoals safely and find safe mooring, you'll notice that the beach is more or less abandoned unless you count the countless shipwrecks an snarled piles of debris strewn across the shore. If you approach the jungle, you'll notice a makeshift sign pointing towards a path leading into the trees. There's a lengthy note tacked to it with a detailed map, an exhaustive list of rules and etiquette for participating in a military summit, and probably more if anyone actually got past the part with the map.
The meeting is to be held in a strangely silent clearing. Upon arriving, you'll find L-Elf sitting on the huge stone in the center, fast asleep. It's immediately obvious that this is not a social occasion or it at least wasn't planned by someone with any idea how to make guests feel comfortable. There's nowhere to sit except on the ground and definitely no refreshments. It might be a good idea to send someone back to the ship to pick something up if you want to make it through this thing.

[Taking him to Aeolipile was a very, very bad idea. He has stacks of blueprints now and an renewed interest in building the sort of mechanical monstrosities he devoted much of his time to back home.]

Hohh...sounds pretty awesome. You fellas with your guns, really like 'em, don'tcha?

[The solution to this, of course, is to have a lot of guns. He's learned from Sayaka's example on that one.]
I'd work on a way to fix that, but they're a bit small for me to be too interested in.

[stupid Date and his stupid rifle squads backing Orochi up all the time...]
Considerin' how much the Navy likes to rely on guns and cannons, they probably got a stockpile of gunpowder somewhere. Heh, then again, I bet Miss Margie can get you all the powder you want but she'll charge you out the ass for it.

[Sayaka is usually his trading partner for gunpowder. As much as he'd rather not deal with merchants when there are perfectly good supplies to be stolen, he has a feeling Margie would be easier to deal with than Sayaka...]

Funny, ain't it? How things are the same between our world but like, a step to the side or somethin'. Who knows, maybe if we hadn't all been thrown into Orochi's world, my world would turn out like yours.
