[She's still annoyed by Sanji's flirting and you can hear it in her voice] My stuff, who are you.

I'm Luffy. What kinda stuff. [peers at her closely]

Weapons, exploration journals, everything I need.

Any cool bugs? [just checking]

I guess neat beetles is a little too much to hope for. [sigh. but he wanted to see them. Maybe they could go back to the giant spider island and see if there was anything there]

Hey you wanna come up to the crow's nest with me? [there's a covered one with a helpful rope ladder leading up to it. Not that he needs that kind of thing though it does make it easier]

[she just looks at him funny] Why?

Because it's interesting. [why else does there need to be a why?]

[eyes rolling] Fine, At least it's some exercise before I find quarters.

[she begins climbing the ladder up to the crows nest]

[meatthefuture]

[huffs] If you're not going to have fun then forget it.

[it makes him grumpy if people just do things like that. He stretches to grab onto the top edge of the covered crow's nest and shoots up to clamber on top of it, chin in hands and pouting. It's like no one knows what fun it is to catch bugs around here]

[she looks as the boy stretches past her and beats her to the top. She raises her voice to speak from the distance while she continues to climb.]

Catching bugs is not my idea of fun. If you ever feel like sparring I could use partners. Who here knows how to fight?

[it's no one's really except Usopp's but that is because Usopp is awesome and Luffy misses him more than he even wants to think about. He peeks over the edge at her]

It wouldn't be sparring. You're too easy. [he picks his nose absently] But I can fight you if you want.

[it'll be something at least]

Do you like fishing?

[clearly offended]I'm too easy? Boy I think you overestimate yourself.

But do you like to fish. [that's whats important here] Or go exploring? Or what do you like to do?

[idly kicks his toes against the roof of the crow's nest]

[she's fished before but she doesn't really care for it] I'm too impatient for fishing, just let me drink, explore, and train and I'll be happy.

Exploring is fun. We can do that then. [he rolls a booger between his fingers] What kind of training?

[maybe it'll be interesting]

[she cringes at the act of booger juggling] Would you stop? That's disgusting.

No way I do what I want. I'm a pirate and that means freedom. [yep]

That doesn't mean you are 12 years old. [gross]

I'm nineteen. [makes a really big booger] It's a green one. [yes she can see that]

[grossed out] Ok enough of this, Where is your captain?

[meatthefuture]

I'm the captain. [Don!]

[and flicks the booger away so it falls into the sea]

[still with a disgusted look on her face] Very well then. While I'm here I'll do what you need me to do.

Nothing! Hey listen! [he stands looking down at her with his hands on his hips] This is a pirate ship! You do whatever you wanna do! I'll do whatever I wanna do! Just have fun and enjoy adventures and life on the sea! It doesn't matter what you are or where you came from but you gotta live life as hard as you can!

[clearly not expecting that reaction she's startled and jumps a little at his sudden outburst] I almost see now why this crew follows you.

[she doesn't; but she might as well try get along with these people while she's here]
