Not at all!

[He scrambles to move out of the way before charging in again. His attack head on is a feint, he'll use his fancy footwork to get behind sting. He's far better at attacking, his defense is something he tends to forget.]

[Smirks and jumps into the air, taking a breath and spitting out a bolt of holy energy at Roxas]

[He remembers the tree and hightails it to run out of the way. Maybe his keyblades aren't going to be as useful as he hoped.

He slides to a stop and holds out Oblivion. Time to test his theory. He casts Gravity at Sting. He isn't sure it's strong enough to ground him.]

[Is forced down by the gravity spell, he had forgotten Roxas said he had it. He grunts and then races forward, as fast as the gravity spell will let him, intent on kicking that sword out of Roxas hand]

[It's a first level spell and the first time he's used it in combat and it will wear off soon. It's helpful because like him, Sting is usually pretty fast. Roxas won't part with his keyblades that easily, he will try and whack him with them however.]

[In the process of trying to get the blades out Roxas' hand he ends up whacked in the side with them. He rolls with the blow, landing in a crouch a few meters away and spits another holy bolt at him]

[Geeze, those bolts send him scrambling because he is absolutely sure he does not want to be hit with one. Scrambling is the worst kind of position in a fight. Roxas runs towards him instead, jumping and launching an attack from above with both blades.]

[Sting faces the attack head on, fist raised and radiating white light.]

[The weaknesses in Roxas' defense becoming very apparent all of a sudden as he takes the blow full force, shooting back until he lands hard. That's going to hurt come morning.

His entire attack strategy banks on the fact his opponents will defend his dangerous blows, even though he leaves himself wide open.]

You need to work on your defense buddy!

[races forward, intent on another attack]

[Winded, he doesn't have enough time to move really and throws his foot up, aiming for Sting's middle when he comes into his space. He's not really good at hand to hand, but a few tricks here and there he can manage.]

I guess, damn.

[Sting can really pack a punch.]

[He takes the foot in the stomach, and then grabs him by the leg.] Not a bad kick. Needs a bit more power to it.

[He begins to spin, going faster and faster, planing on letting Roxas go at his top speed]

[This has never happened to him before and he's completely thrown as to how to deal with this. He should have spent time fighting the Dancer Nobodies if people were going to be spinning him around.

He yelps when Sting lets go and this time has a good landing, rolling with the momentum. Roxas ends on his kness, breathing hard.]

I give! You're really strong!

[Shakes his head]

I'm strong, but I think your main problem is you never really faced an opponent like me before.

You should Natsu, he was strong enough to take me and my partner Rogue in a fight and still hand out asses to us. He's the real deal when it comes to strength.

[It's an advantage that Sting has, if he's faced an opponent with swords before. He sits up slowly, he's definitely going to be sore.]

I haven't, that's true. I haven't faced that many people here or anything. Not yet.

[Roxas is a lot stronger than he looks, but his defense has a lot of holes.]

Facing different kinds of opponents is the best way to get stronger. That and having a cause to fight for. Strength alone won't beat everything.

Also your defense needs work. And that's saying something coming from me. [He grins though]

Yeah, I like sparring with people! It's a lot of fun. I had a friend named Aya and he used to help me. He taught me some tricks with my keyblades.

[He scratches his head a little.]

A cause to fight for? Like what? I quit the Organization already.

A good cause. Like your friends. Your crew. Your family.

Marco. Think of Marco as a reason to fight.

I do that! I protect my crew and my friends!

Then that's all the reason you need. With that, you can face the toughest foes. You might not always win, but you'll be stronger than fighting on strength alone.
