[Lorelai reaches out and grabs hold of the rope flying her way and immediately begins tying it off as tightly as she can]

Do you know how to fire the cannons?

If they work in this world that they do in mine then yes. Give me a target

I suspect you'll have your pick.

[But she's amassing a small arsenal of cannonballs that have been fired at their ship, so ammo won't be a problem. Robin gestures toward the deck cannons- smaller, but visible to the rest of the crew.]

Most cannons function under the same principles. Even if it's different, I'm sure you'll figure it out quickly.

[Lorelai begins loading one of the cannons when an idea springs into her mind.]

I'm going to try something!

[she raises her hand into the air and the tattoo on the back of it begins to glow and the barrel of the cannon fills with electricity she lights the cannon and fires the cannonball shooting out with a blue glow causing an explosion of electricity to arc out when it crashes into one of the smaller oncoming ships]

Ha! It worked!
