[so he says, but any energy from Sanji is clearly a big help. Zoro strikes out for the rear deck of the ship ahead of him, which sits just at the waterline, not even thinking about whether it's Merrily that has a deck like that. The girls are definitely fighting there, so that's where they have to be.]

[But his ladies!!!! Hmph. Fine. Sanji grumbles a bit, but arguing -- and even talking, really -- requires too much effort.

...Here's hoping he doesn't poke Zoro in the leg or some shit while he tries to sheath the sword.

Nah, he'll manage.

Luckily he's too distracted, both by doing that and by watching the various attacks going on above them, to pay attention to the ship... Also, you know, the lack of strength, feeling lightheaded, probably a decent amount of blood loss (since he doesn't usually go around losing shitty gallons of it like some people), all of this COMBINED means he's actually pretty out of it right now and is struggling to keep the blackness at the edges of his vision from taking over.

[Zoro doesn't need haki to tell that Sanji is fading, and doubles his efforts as best he can. They'll be really damn lucky if the blood in the water doesn't attract sharks. Maybe they'll go for the survivors from the other ship...

He gets them to the rear deck and waits for a wave to wash them up high enough to grab onto the railing, so he can just haul them both over it at once. Only with his reduced strength, that doesn't quite go so well. He gets Sanji over, and then the pitching of the ship in the waves takes him out of reach, smacking his face against the rail and then leaving him dangling at the other end of the damn chain for a moment before another wave pushes him back up so he can at least get his arms around the railing. Needless to say, it's a comedy of pathetic errors before they can actually consider themselves safe on the deck. Just through that door, then they can go up to give a hand...

...only when the door opens, there's a collection of enemy pirates on the other side, just waiting to take them prisoner. Oops. This is not Merrily at all.]

[Hits the deck with an oomph and a wince, then just lies there on his back for a moment, trying to catch his breath. The tugging on his arm tells him that Zoro's still having some difficulty getting over, and he tries to help, wrapping both hands around the chain and pulling hard, but it's probably mostly the wave and Zoro's own attempts that get him over the shitty railing.

But once he's there, Sanji collapses backwards again and lets his head thunk backwards off the deck.

It's possible he might pass out for JUST A SECOND OKAY because the next time he blinks his eyes open, they're suddenly surrounded.

By the enemy.

Which is about when Sanji remembers that Merrily doesn't even have a fucking rear deck like this.

........So he laughs. Can't help it. Ahhhh, his stupid dumbass marimo. Though this is partly his fault, too. Mah, well, let them think they have some kind of victory here. Sanji can still see the attacks from Keimi-chan and Lorelai-chan up above, and Celestia-san could probably just blink at all these fuckers and take them out somehow.

Plus Luffy's still out there somewhere with Robin-chan.

OR SO HE THINKS, until they wind up tossed into a cage right next to the pair.
