Happy Days, Zombie Nights
Who: Hazmats!
Where: at sea and at Arco da Vella
When: June.
What: zombies. Also exploring Arco and seeing its own brand of weirdness, looking for treasure, etc.
Warnings: maybe some zombie violence
Style: whatever
Status: closed to Hazmats
The Nightfury leaves Li Yu Tiao after the festival and after a little aimless sailing, settles on a course southeast to Arco da Vella, mainly to follow rumors of treasure and to do visit somewhere they haven't been before. By the time they turn onto this week-long journey, it's already June, and the Dog's warnings about something coming catch up to them before they land.
At sea the night of the 15th when the first zombies attack, it becomes even more imperative to make it to land. Because of course, it would never happen on land, right? Wrong. Plus, when they get there, the strange colorless nature of Arco da Vella shows itself, not that it's as dangerous or deadly as zombies but it's just one thing after another around here.

[Treasure hunting 101.]
So then, should we do the normal thing and fly over there, or should we be adventurous and try crossing the lake? It looks like fun.

[He eyes the distance.]
...normally I'd be up for adventurous, but I think it's better we don't tire ourselves out before night comes around.

[And with that, she calls out Garchomp and Braviary. The dragon immediately goes to her trainer's side. Which was no surprise, really. But Braviary was more interested in his new found company and may have forced his way into the thief's personal bubble. He smells candy. Give him candy.]

He gives Braviary an awkward pat before moving to climb aboard. Cynthia gets a flat look.]
I think I'm fine as is, thanks.

[With the, she signals her dragon to take off. Braviary following behind them.]

[Still, he hunkers low against the bird to make for less wind resistance as they take off.]

[Which may be why she always wore that long sleeved coat. Shh. Lucky for him, it's not even a long flight. It only took a few minutes to get to the mini island.]

[He glances down as they begin to descend towards the little island. Islet? Whatever.]

[But then again, the poot don't force themselves into the tiny space known at the crow's nest.]
