[This will be a general catch-all post for mingling! I'll just toss in weather for the next 2 weeks.]

10/16 - 10/20 [AT SEA, SAILING SOUTHWEST] - We'll mingle at our leisure! Ace's Devil Fruit power will push the weather at bay a little and it'll be mostly sunny skies. Also, they may encounter a ghost ship... OK, they will.

10/21 - 10/22 [ARRIVAL TO HEARTLESS ISLAND, LEAVING ON THE 22ND] - You guys can't blame Ace for a hasty escape this time!

10/23 - 10/25 [AT SEA, SAILING ?????] - The crew will be dealing with a sudden squall pending the arrival of a hurricane from the other side of the Heartless Island. As the crew may have to put everything into avoiding the hurricane, their course will be a bit... off.

10/26 - 10/27 [STONE NEST / KRAKEN NEST] - 'Nuff said. They'll leave once it becomes apparent they have nothing else to gain from being there. The weather, upon leaving, will likely be sunny because of Ace.

10/28 - 10/31 [FREE SAILING, MAYBE ISLAND #3'S INITIAL JOURNEY] - Barf. Ghost ships Round 2!

We could always just punch them and hang them upside down for a day if they get messy, assuming someone else doesn't take care of things being clean.

I don't need a rota to clean, princess. I will clean whatever I want, wherever I want, whenever I want.

[And thus be busy and not have to talk with people.]

*Princess? That makes her raise a brow, and she takes a step forward, frowning gently*

Look. Are you part of this ship, or not? If you are, you gotta play your part in it, same as everybody else. You gotta muck in.

You're not listening, are you? I'm not saying I won't clean up, I'm saying that I won't limit myself just to follow this schedule of yours. I do whatever needs to be done, if others don't do it until it's their "turn" in the schedule, that's their problem and their time they have to fill.

[Wallow, he probably would. Natsuno doesn't comment on it either, but instead looks through what he's doing for the aforementioned bugs. He doesn't know what weevils in particular look like, but any bug isn't going to be well received in their food.]

What kind of a knack?

[Natsuno turns and looks at Thatch almost curiously. He's of the opinion that if he's going to do something, he'll do it properly.]

I appreciate that. [He genuinely did. The last thing he needs is someone being overly friendly and calling him by his first name, reminding him of Tohru all the time.]

[It might be rude, it might not, Natsuno doesn't really know. He's not usually a liar, so he openly answers him.]

I never expected it to be like that. [He frowns.] I guess it's something I didn't understand until I felt the bloodlust. It takes longer...I don't know if it's because I had some before I came, or if it's naturally that way. There isn't anyone I can ask. The other Jinrou didn't tell me much about it, then again...he probably doesn't know. He just goes around drinking people like they're food.

[He hangs his head a little.] Now I've bitten two people. But it can never happen again. Elissa's wrong about that...and Thatch doesn't want me biting anyone either, or I'll be answering to him.

[Natsuno nods, thinking about it.]

And you can do that? Even though technology here isn't that great?

*Selphie just looks plain confused now. What are you even talking about right now? She raises a brow and shakes her head, pointing to his rota*

Well, that's the point of the rota. You do your bit, and that's that. I'm not gonna slave drive you all over the place.

[He grins and zaps a few more things with his screwdriver.]

I'm telling you, my "bit" is whatever I want to do. I'm not going to do just a bit of cleaning and leave it for someone else to continue. If they want to do it, they better hurry and get to it before I do, because I'm not following this rota.

I think I don't know why I'm stuck on dish duty so often.

[PROBABLY NO MORE OFTEN THAN ANYONE ELSE, but he hates doing dishes. :|

Then he sighs and gives a slight eye roll, though both are good-humored in nature.]

Are you really doing room inspections? What if I just promise you our room will be spotless?

[...His half will be, anyway. He might have to get on Sora, though.]

You can't not follow the rota. That's not how this works. I'm in charge of cleaning, and that means making sure everyone is doing their fair share. This, by the way, is NOT doing your fair share.

*Okay, so now she is genuinely annoyed by this, and the frowning is more obvious*

What makes you think that you're so great that you can ignore the rules and do what you want?

*Selphie peers over his rota, just to make sure that she hadn't got it wrong. She counts each of the dish duty squares with her finger and shakes her head*

Nopes. Same amount as anyone else.

*Both sigh and eye roll are met with a big grin*

Yup! Some guys have a funny idea about 'spotless', so I just haveta make sure.

You are in charge of cleaning? Since when? And apparently according to you doing one's "fair share" means doing just a little bit everyday sticking to this schedule. I've been doing cleaning as it was needed, as much as was needed, I'm not going to just limit how much I do just because you have decided that now everyone has to do some cleaning instead of leaving it to a few people.

Next you will want to do the same with all the chores in the ship, and when that happens, what will I be supposed to do whenever it's not my turn of doing something? Be social?

*Selphie frowns some more, and opens her mouth, ready to say something else but then... She starts to giggle*

Are you telling me that the problem here is that you're not doing enough cleaning? Well, for that, I'm pretty sure there's plenty duties on there that most people don't wanna do, so you can take them back if they're so precious to you. I mean, we can't have you actually going around and hanging out and having fun with the rest of the crew now, can we? Nopes - that would just be totally stupid and weird.

I can imagine, just as I imagine some people would prefer to not do any cleaning at all. That's why I'm saying that I will do it, regardless of the schedule.

[And yes, he agrees with that last part, even if he knows she's being sarcastic or ironic.]

*Wow. Selphie can't actually believe what she's hearing right now. Her eyes and her mouth open wide and she just stares for a moment or two. Where did this guy even come from?*

*So she holds out a hand, expecting that he'll be happy to hand over his old one*

Or you could just leave me be. As long as I clean then there's nothing for you to worry, and I don't intend to slack off.

*Selphie takes the paper swiftly, and folds it up several times until its small enough to fit into the small pocket of her skirt*

Are you kidding? You're one of the crew that I worry about the most. I'm not worried about your cleaning, but you definitely need to work on your social fun skills.

I don't. And you're in charge of cleaning duty, not on social fun duty, so don't even think of that.
