[This will be a general catch-all post for mingling! I'll just toss in weather for the next 2 weeks.]

10/16 - 10/20 [AT SEA, SAILING SOUTHWEST] - We'll mingle at our leisure! Ace's Devil Fruit power will push the weather at bay a little and it'll be mostly sunny skies. Also, they may encounter a ghost ship... OK, they will.

10/21 - 10/22 [ARRIVAL TO HEARTLESS ISLAND, LEAVING ON THE 22ND] - You guys can't blame Ace for a hasty escape this time!

10/23 - 10/25 [AT SEA, SAILING ?????] - The crew will be dealing with a sudden squall pending the arrival of a hurricane from the other side of the Heartless Island. As the crew may have to put everything into avoiding the hurricane, their course will be a bit... off.

10/26 - 10/27 [STONE NEST / KRAKEN NEST] - 'Nuff said. They'll leave once it becomes apparent they have nothing else to gain from being there. The weather, upon leaving, will likely be sunny because of Ace.

10/28 - 10/31 [FREE SAILING, MAYBE ISLAND #3'S INITIAL JOURNEY] - Barf. Ghost ships Round 2!

[Funny. Absolutely hilarious. The frown should greatly express his appreciation, in fact.

Sitting up, he gives what could be interpreted as a pout--just don't mention it to him, of course. After a couple of seconds, though, he yawns, and appears to have compeltely forgotten he was supposed to be annoyed.]

How long was I asleep?

[Cocks an eyebrow at Sora and seriously debates calling him out on his pouting, but hey, he's a nice guy sometimes so he'll let it slide. This once.]

How should I know? Not like I was sitting here watching you.

[He stretches for a moment, because that yawn is catching and he feels a little sleepy himself, then leans back on his hands.]

Probably wasn't too long. Or maybe it was half the day. [Teasing smirk.] Definitely one of those two options, though.

[Oh, now, that's seriously not cool. The idea that it could have been half of the day made his face tense into a faintly worried expression.]

What... You're kidding, right? There's no way it could have been that long!

[It felt like, maybe... an hour? He was stil sleepy--in fact, he yawns. Again.]

I think at least one person would have woken me up, before I slept that long....Right? [He would hope so, anyway.]

[Lets his head fall back as he laughs.]

I'm kidding, Sora, geez. I don't think it was that long. Ace would've been over here lighting a fire under your ass if it had been. [Pauses.] Literally.

[He waves a hand.]

Don't worry, you didn't miss anything.

[He faintly huffed out a sigh, before furrowing his brow at the ... well... truth. Yeah, Riku had a point--he should have thought of that, before getting so worked up.]

... Right. [To the next part, he leaned forward propping his a forearm on his knees, the other hand reaching up to scratch at the back of his head.]

Well... That's good, at least. [He drops the hand, and drops it onto his a knee.] So, what have you been up to, today?

[Shrugs.]

Not much. Just got off watch, so mostly I've been staring at the ocean for the past few hours.

[Grins a bit.]

More things that never change. Anyway, I was thinking of getting some practice in.

[A slight grin appears at the mentioning of Riku staring at the ocean. Yeah, he isn't surprised at that--even in a new world, on a ship, Riku's going to stare at the ocean at some point in the day.]

Yeah, and probably never will? [He laughs. ...Onto the mention of the getting practice in.]

Practice, huh? [He matches Riku's grin with an intrigued one.]

[Just laughs.]

It's comforting, I dunno. I guess the ocean is my safety blanket or something.

[Then he raises his eyebrows at Sora.]

Well, we can't go getting sloppy now, right? There's not a whole lot of room on deck, but if we're careful...

[His smile momentarily turned somewhat fond.] Heh... yeah, probably. That would make a lot of sense, actually.

[To the mentioning of them getting sloppy, he laughs a moment. With a grin, his tone turns a bit challenging--in the playful sort of way, of course. It's not like he would ever get competitive with Riku.] ...then it shouldn't be a problem! Sure you can handle going against me, though?

Can I handle it? [Snorts.] Oh please. I should be the one asking you that.

[COCKY GRIN -- though also playful.

He hops up, propping his hands on his hips.]

Want to go a few rounds, then?

[Expected response was-- well, expected. Sora holds his grin.]

You say that now, but just wait! [Sora's on his feet as well, soon after, matching the stance with one hand--eyes lit up, he is obviously way excited for this to happen.

... After all, teasing and jokes aside, practicing with Riku is awesome.]

[His grin stretches even wider. It's been awhile since they've done this!

He backs several steps away from Sora, eyeing the area around them to make sure there isn't anyone who will get in their way.]

We should probably say no magic, though, okay? Or special moves.

[He summons his Keyblade.]

Don't want to risk damaging the ship.

[He looks around, as well. Definitely no magic. He doesn't want to risk hurting the ship OR any person who could just... accidentally wander into their line of fire. He gives a firm nod--looking just a little more serious now.]

Right!

[Summoning his own Keyblade, he gets into his battle stance.
