[This will be a general catch-all post for mingling! I'll just toss in weather for the next 2 weeks.]

10/16 - 10/20 [AT SEA, SAILING SOUTHWEST] - We'll mingle at our leisure! Ace's Devil Fruit power will push the weather at bay a little and it'll be mostly sunny skies. Also, they may encounter a ghost ship... OK, they will.

10/21 - 10/22 [ARRIVAL TO HEARTLESS ISLAND, LEAVING ON THE 22ND] - You guys can't blame Ace for a hasty escape this time!

10/23 - 10/25 [AT SEA, SAILING ?????] - The crew will be dealing with a sudden squall pending the arrival of a hurricane from the other side of the Heartless Island. As the crew may have to put everything into avoiding the hurricane, their course will be a bit... off.

10/26 - 10/27 [STONE NEST / KRAKEN NEST] - 'Nuff said. They'll leave once it becomes apparent they have nothing else to gain from being there. The weather, upon leaving, will likely be sunny because of Ace.

10/28 - 10/31 [FREE SAILING, MAYBE ISLAND #3'S INITIAL JOURNEY] - Barf. Ghost ships Round 2!

Huh. Perhaps if I didn't have such high goals I might not have...

[He shrugs.]

Actually I can't think of anything else I would have done. My parents tried to get me into all kinds of things, it just...didn't happen.

My parents...never really had to get me into anything. Sora and I have been running around together since he managed to toddle a couple feet without falling on his butt. Been nonstop ever since. And there were other kids on the islands, so we were always outside doing stuff. Swimming, sailing, being dumb. Sword fighting.

[Laughs.]

Maybe that's why school just seemed so...confining. Being outside was better.

I didn't really have any friends when I was little, other kids didn't like me. A lot of them made fun of me because of my parents. I guess studying was something I could do alone. But I really, really didn't want to live out in the countryside. My parents were always doing stuff like that. My dad thought it was a romantic kind of lifestyle, where you don't have to lock your doors at night. I knew from the moment we got there, that I wanted to leave so I didn't want to make any friends.

[His expression softens.]

Tohru was just something else. Never takes no for an answer that guy. He kind of just decided he was my friend and that was it.

Kids can be jerks, I guess.

[Turns around so he can lean back against the railing, propping his elbows on it as he looks at Natsuno.]

At least you found someone eventually. [Grins.] Or he found you, anyway. It's hard to refuse that kind of personality.

They can be, but I wasn't really upset about it or anything.

[He rolls his eyes.]

You really can't. He was definitely the kind of person you could like. Everyone liked him.

[Jealousy in his tone? More than likely.]

[His eyebrows go up a bit, then he glances away.]

Heh... Yeah, uh. I feel that. [Fiddles absently with a strand of hair.] It's similar with Sora. Everyone likes him.

[HE UNDERSTANDS YOUR JEALOUSY, NATSUNO. It's half the reason the first KH game happened! >.>]

...Actually Tohru sounds kind of like Sora.

They are very alike in a lot of ways.

[Whether or not that is a good thing, Natsuno can't say.]

Tohru-chan was older though. He also never let up on the whole 'Natsuno' thing. Even Masao liked him, and that guy liked no one. He was an idiot.

Older than you? How much older?

[Pause.]

Actually, how old are you?

I'm sixteen, just. He was eighteen. So not that much older. It's not creepy really.

[darknessinside]

[Gives a quick laugh.]

I didn't think it was creepy, I was just curious. Realized I didn't know your age. I'm sixteen, too, actually.

[reluctantjinrou]

Well I don't want to give you the impression he was like thirty or something. That would be strange, even for a small town in the middle of nowhere.

[He nods a bit.]

Not yet old enough to move out, but ready to go. It's a horrible age.

[darknessinside]

...Alright, true. I might side eye that one a bit.

[Shrugs.]

It's not so bad, but then I already left home for nearly two years, so.

You're lucky in a way. To be able to get out, even though it wasn't in the way you intended.

[He thinks about it.]

I don't know if I wanted to go on an adventure, not really, just...to get away.

[darknessinside]

I know... I just wish I'd gone about it differently.

[Grins at him.]

Well, you're on an adventure now, whether you wanted it or not.

I suppose I am, but I'm not entirely sure it counts. I already died. If I hadn't been brought here, it would have been over for me.

[He sighs. Killing himself had been the right choice, right? It's always what he intended to do.]

I wouldn't have picked this had I been alive either.

I probably wouldn't have picked this specifically either if I'd wanted another adventure. But...

[He looks over his shoulder out at the water.]

It's not so bad.

It isn't that horrible.

[He allows with a nod.]

I'm not sure what I would go back to though.
