So Selphie has decided that there's been far too much doom and gloom around the ship lately. The kraken, Sora dead, all the problems with the curses, and then turning back again. What better way to make that better than with a little bit of romance? Selphie set to it, using her own supply of candles and flowers (admittedly rather dried up by now). One evening, dotted around the ship in several places, are pop up romantic dates. These include a couple of candles, some flowers, some chocolates, and a sandwich sliced into two (because she wasn't going to cook a whole bunch of meals)!

Who left it there? Who knows? But it definitely looks like it was put there to be enjoyed, ideally by two people. If it looks romantic, that's because it's supposed to be. So grab your nearest and dearest Spade pirate, or bring two people together, and enjoy some flirting, love, and relaxation.

As for Selphie herself, she might be A) somewhere on the ship. Perhaps you stumble across her near a pop up date, or maybe you go looking for her to drag her/invite her to join you for the evening. Or B) you spy her/find her making a massive pile of sandwiches, or sorting dead dried flowers into bouquets, using strips of her pillowcase as ribbons.

Wasn't complaining. But this is definitely a girl's work.

[He sighs and rolls his eyes.]

Girls do this sort of thing. It's the kind of thing I'm sure Shimizu would have thought of.

I don't know if it's something Kairi would do. [Laughs a bit.] Selphie would. My Selphie.

[Well, they're one and the same, the one here is just older.

Pauses.]

...This was totally Selphie.

For what purpose?

[darknessinside]

She's probably playing Cupid.

[Figures what the hell and plops down amongst the flowers and stuff, reaching for the chocolates.]

Want one?

[He arches an eyebrow.]

Knowing that, you're going to sit there?

[Well, whatever. It's about time for a snack anyway.]

Sure, I guess.

[He takes a chocolate and sits down next to the installation as opposed to on the blanket.]

[Shrugs, popping a piece in his mouth.]

It's chocolate, man. Can't pass that up. There's enough other spots if people need a date night. Are you not sitting on the blanket on purpose? Because I'm kind of offended.

[He rolls his eyes and moves over.] Fine, whatever, I'll sit on it I guess. It's just a blanket. It's just girly for a date.

Then again I never went on one, so what do I know?

[He picks up a sandwich too. Food is food.]

Please. All this super masculine awesomeness I'm exuding? This— [Gestures back and forth between the two of them.] —will be the most manly date of all time.

[Takes another piece of chocolate, looking thoughtful.]

But actually, I've never been on one either.

Oh is that what that is? [Once again, Riku has managed to make him chuckle.]

I wasn't really thinking of it. Even before the vampires came.

[SCORE. He's gonna start keeping a tally.]

Obviously. Didn't you see the candles?

[Reaches for a sandwich.]

I never had time, what with the whole succumbing to the Darkness thing. And before that I...wasn't really interested. Spent more time teasing Sora about, uh. "Winning" Kairi than actually...trying to win Kairi.

[Looks vaguely embarrassed about that. Sometimes he forgets that he was once a young, cocky jerk!]

Well you could always bring her to one of these little picnic things and have a date with her if you wanted to.

[Snorts.]

Uh, no. That's.

[Waves a hand in a dismissive way.]

Not gonna happen.

This isn't exactly the best time to be going on a date anyway.

[He eats between comments.]

I'm sure like everything else, dating isn't all that fun anyway.

[Rolls his eyes.]

If you're with the right person, it's probably fine.

[He seems to be thinking about it.]

Yeah, probably, you're right.

Well, yeah. People wouldn't do it otherwise!

I suppose, but people do a lot of strange things. That girl, Shimizu, thought she was so in love with me, she stalked me. I mean, sit outside your house all night kind of stalking.

...Okay, that's creepy. And also one-sided.

[reluctantjinrou]

It was completely creepy! I couldn't even open my window, she was always sitting out there, I don't know, looking at me. It was really really distracting. I was trying to study!

Then during the day she'd follow me around and stare at me, or try and talk to me. I couldn't ignore her fast enough.

[darknessinside]

[Slowly raises his eyebrows.]

Wow... Sitting outside your window is a whole new level of stalking. Was she pretty, at least?

[He snorts.]

Objectively, I suppose you could say that. She was weird, and she made one psychopathic vampire.

If you're asking if I thought she was pretty, then no. I didn't think she was attractive.

Heh. Just looking for a silver lining, but that seems like a bad deal all around. And that's before you even get to the vampire part.
