[Even after the experience of cutting ones hair just to escape, eventually being caught anyway and even being lashed simply for being a pirate without a choice, Kairi still had some fight with her, although that to was draining fast as they dragged her, with force when she struggled slightly and bringing her down to her knees.

As she was pulled up, she looked up at the gallows, the final place where she was headed. She had faith that someone would come help her, even as she got closer and closer towards it. In her mind she believed and that was all that was left to stop her from breaking down at what happened. Hope that her friends will come save her.]

[Rescue missions is something he's ironically used to, though normally they revolve around rescuing just one person, still the change in the number isn't that much of a problem. For once, Ikki allows Ace take care of the fireworks and getting most of the initial attention, choosing the straight and more silent way inside. The Navy's power suppressions mean little unless they are placed on him, and when he burns his Cosmo to its limit, the Phoenix Saint is just too fast for most of the soldiers there. Faster than sound, running silently at the speed of light, by the time they notice him it's too late. He doesn't even bother to call out his attacks like usual, neither uses his flames yet, instead he uses his mental strike, sending all the soldiers he comes across into the depths of their worst nightmares.

He stops only when he finally comes across one of the members of his crew, a flash of light, a sudden rush of wind as the Phoenix Saint pauses right besides the girl. One of the soldiers dragging her, the one closest to her, notices him first, just quickly enough to alert the others with a cry.]

[The soldier's warning is cut short, this time Ikki doesn't even bother with mental strikes or fire. No, he has finally found one of his comrades and he has to release some real anger, give a proper warning to the others of what's going to happen in the next minutes. The soldier's head makes a dull noise as it's smashed against the ground, his voice becoming a gurgling sound and soon Ikki feels the bone fracture and crack at the pressure he applies. It happens in just a few seconds but for Ikki it seems like a delicious eternity as the soldier's head breaks open with a sick sound. His hand is dripping with blood when he raises it and looks at the other soldiers, a predatory smile on his lips and burning eyes that could very well be the entrance to Hell. His other hand moves towards her, pushing her lightly between him and a wall.]

You're going to regret having ever laid eyes on her.

[Kairi had nearly reached the place when before she knew it on of the soldiers had ended up on the ground. It seemed like things will be okay like always knew it would be. She turned her head just in some to see and hear the sound of a head cracking open like a nut. She covered her mouth and eyes with her hands. It was a horrifying sight if she had ever seen one and to be honest she never would have thought she would have.

She didn't know what to do, she didn't even think for a moment to just simply move. She was paralyzed for a moment in fear of what could happen next, but after a moment she nodded to herself. It was stupid to be scared and she could endure the pain she felt if she really tired. She had to help. This is what she kept thinking to herself as she slowly removed her hands, glancing around for any signs of a weapon she could use as she caught sights of a couple more solders.

Glancing down at the body, she noticed a small knife among the guys belongings. It seemed like a long shot since she knew she couldn't summon her keyblade right now and she need to protect herself. So running over, ignoring the screams of pain in her head she fell to the floor and grabbed the knife and knowing that there was someone who helped in the first place, she knew she could count on them.]

There's a couple more coming this way.

Let them come, it's only going to be worse for them.

[He casts a look to his back where Kairi is before he focus on the front, where the soldiers, now well alerted, are ready for combat.]

Accursed pirates! You have a death wish for having come here! You are outnumbered, surrender and we will give you a quick death! But you will have to surrender now!

Funny, I was going to say the same to you.

[There's a snarl, and some soldiers shoot their firearms at them. Ikki burns his Cosmo, a sudden rush of flames and wind surrounding both the girl and himself stopping the bullets and letting them drop to the ground. He then releases a flaming punch to the soldier who spoke earlier, sending him flying backwards against the others.]

How wounded are you, Kairi?

[It took Kairi a couple of moments before she managed to get herself back up even if the chains weren't helping in anyway. Gripping her knife, she knew that the only wa to get out of here was to fight, or at least try.]

I'm in some pain, but I'll manage.

[She took a couple of steps, not letting how she truly felt get the best of her, she was going to help, she was going to fight. that is all she could try and do for now as she charged at a nearby solider, who the moment he spotted her coming at him, had drawn his weapon ready to fire. Kairi didn't mind and kept coming, even after a fire was shot and it skimmed her arm, she was going for it and within a brief moment her knife connected to the soldiers side.]

What are you doing? Shoot them down!

[Ikki frowns as he sees Kairi charge against a soldier, but there's nothing he can do, it's obviously better if she helps however she can and she clearly wants to do so. It's funny, how, for a second, he actually misses Saori and how she would be unable to do much until they had properly saved her. It was something that gave them a security he won't have here, not as long as they are in the Navy Base, not until every member of the crew is safely back on the ship.

His attention returns to the soldiers in front of him, spending just one last glance to the corpse of the soldier he killed.]

I don't suppose that you guys are going to hand us the key for her chains, right?

[He remembers the words of the Doctor back at the ship about not giving them even the opportunity to fight back, it sounded like a good plan then. It still does, so when he charges he actually goes for the kill or the complete incapacity. Bullets do little against his armor and even those who manage to hit him are brushed off, those wounds are nothing he won't be able to heal later after all.]

[Another gunfire and this time it hit her leg, causing Kairi to kneel down. The pain starting to finally taking it's toll. Gripping her dagger, she slowly stood up, moving away from the soldier she had just stabbed and left to bleed out as she kept on moving. At the same time more gunfire was heard.

This wasn't good. Not at all. She could barely move and she was expected to make it out of this alive. It was starting to get harder and hard, but never the less she wasn't going to give up without a fight at least.]

I'll be fine, lets keep going. We'll get the chains off later.

[Another soldier falls, followed by yet another one. There doesn't seem to be an end for them, but that's fine as there's no end for his anger either. It brings back memories, it almost feels like fighting Hades' army, except that the Specters didn't use firearms. He dodges a bullet that scratches his cheek, turning to look at Kairi, wounded again. He grits his teeth.]

Don't push yourself! This will be useless if they kill you or if you bleed out from the wounds!

[Flames crack in the air and raise, burning soldiers around them as he jumps to place himself in front of her. He understands her will to keep fighting, to be of use, but for him it feels as if it's just adding more to the load. He never expected to miss having the person he was rescuing mostly incapacitated to act until the situation was under control.]

[She looked over slightly, surprised, but at the same time felt happy that he was helping it. But she knew he had to because she was close to her limit.]

I'm sorry, but I'll try and not push myself too much, but we do need to get going.

[But the question of the matter was, how exactly were they to escape.]

Let's head towards the others, we should regroup.

[He reaches back to take hold of one of her wrists before he leaps forward and starts running from the area. He doesn't like it, but it's true that they can't just stay there and fight every soldier. Not when some of them are wounded already, not when their priority should be to rescue the members of the crew that had been captured.]

Don't let them escape!

[She nodded, simply letting him lead the way, especially considering she had no idea where to go anyway. Trying as she might, she kept up as best as she could, letting the pain mean nothing, but in reality her legs were starting to hurt.]

How far is it to the ship?

The problem isn't how far it is, but how many soldiers are gathering on the path towards it. Either way the distance isn't big.

[He stops as they reach an open area, filled with soldiers swarming around. Some running towards where Ace's causing all the ruckus, others running to chase the prisoners and other pirates... Ikki frowns as they are spotted and turns to pull Kairi closer to his body, practically hugging her as the soldiers fire a first round of bullets. As the shots sounds ring on their ears, Ikki speaks, lowly to the girl.]

Even with Ace's fireworks this isn't going to be easy. When they stop to recharge I want you to drop to the ground and don't move unless you have to hold your ground there. I'll open a path, once that's done, you run through it towards the exit on the other side, got it?

[The soldiers that had been running after them shouldn't reach them until a few minutes later as he had ran at the top speed a human could go, even knowing that she was wounded. It was needed to get a fair advantage over the others.]

[She nodded slightly, she understood fully what it was she had to do, all that was left was t let him do whatever it was he had planned to do.]

Okay, that should be easy enough to do. Just give me a signal when I have to run.

[He nods and endures the shooting a bit more before he finds his opening in a moment when some soldiers are charging their rifles again. Despite the wounds on his back, with the bullets buried in his body piercing his flesh, Ikki moves fast, letting go of Kairi hoping that she follows her part and turning around to face the soldiers. Flames arise all around him as he basically flies, flapping his arms like wings, the form of a phoenix, a bird made of pure fire, surrounds him.]

Hōyoku Tenshō!!!

[Ikki's voice calling his attack is all that is heard before the sound of flames spiraling towards the soldiers fills the place, their screams drowned by the raging fire. Those in the line of the attack burn within seconds, and those who aren't are thrown away towards the walls violently by the storm like wind that accompanies the flames. Within minutes there's a wide and clear path from where they stood towards the exit.]

Kairi, now!!

[darknessinside]

[Trying to remain inconspicuous as he edges his way to the front of the crowd, but the sight of Kairi like that, tied up, her hair chopped off, beaten and bruised, is more than enough to make him see red.

A second later he's elbowing some guy behind him in the gut and summoning his Keyblade with his free hand, which he then immediately slashes around him in a wide circle that has the Navy soldiers in the area falling back in alarm.]

KAIRI!

[The shout, more than anything, is to let her know that he's here and coming for her. Without giving the soldiers a chance to regroup, he throws his Keyblade out in front of him, using a Strike Raid attack to clear a path. Then he sprints forward, jumping up to catch the Keyblade as it returns to him and landing on the raised platform where the gallows is. He falls into a fighting stance, glancing at Kairi out of the corner of his eye.]

You looked like you could use some help.

[watchesthesea]

[She glanced up slightly, a small smile spreading across her face, even if it really hurt to do so. She was happy, her friends even crew were here to help all that had been captured and her hope was one that came true.]

Riku... [She nodded slightly, trying her best to stand up, withstanding the pain she was in currently.]

I could use a lot of help actually.

[darknessinside]

[Slashes at a few guys with his Keyblade, trying to keep them from coming any closer. He looks over his shoulder at Kairi.]

Are you okay??

[...Dumb question. He makes an angry sound, throwing the Keyblade at a long line of Marines and knocking them back. When he speaks again, his voice is strained and frustrated.]

I can't—I haven't figured out the Cure spell yet and I don't have any potions, we need to get you to Sora!

Threadjack! Hope this is okay

[vysecaptain]

[There's a bit of commotion a bit away from Riku and Kairi, which they may not notice right away. But they'll likely notice the loud pop followed by a large amount of smoke that suddenly originates from a nearby Marine crowd, scattering them.

Vyse follows a few seconds later to join the other two.]

Hey...you guys okay?

It's fine by me

[Kairi was having a hard time moving as she once more sat on the floor, looking up for a moment and seeing a gunman is the distance, ready to fire at her at a moments notice. When she speaks it's clear in her voice she's in pain.]

We're fine...Though there's someone over there about ready to fire and I don't think I can move in time.

[Though she didn't say she wouldn't try. Slowly getting up and trying to move, she flinched, nearly toppling over towards the ground as fires were heard along with the sound of footsteps.]

More must be coming, we best hurry.

[Riku throws a glance Vyse's way, followed by a quick nod in Kairi's direction.]

I'm fine, she's not. Do you—

[He shuts up when Kairi points out the gunman, cursing under his breath and instantly letting his Keyblade disappear from his grasp in favor of bending down a bit to Kairi's level and scooping her right up in his arms. With a scowl, he jumps back out of the way, trying to be gentle about it, and kind of positions himself behind Vyse in the hopes that he can maybe hold some of the Marines off.]

Vyse, can you do magic? Do you know any Cure spells?

Sorry for latetag, I couldn't brain it very well.

[vysecaptain]

[You picked a terrible human shield, Riku, Vyse is kinda short for his age. But he'll try to be a good shield anyway, bringing his swords up in front of him in a defensive position.]

Cu--oh, Sacri... [A shake of his head.] No...not here. We should just try to get out.

[He mutters something under his breath, an incantation, and three ghosts appear around them briefly before disappearing, causing some of the nearest Marines to hesitate.]

[Kairi while sometimes she didn't appreciate being the damsel in distress, sometimes she just had to let them help her, even if wanted to be of use herself. But thinking about it, pointing out the gunsman or soldiers might at least be her way of being useful.]

It probably won't be easy, I bet they'll try and seal all exits.

[darknessinside]

[YOU WERE THE CLOSEST THING AROUND, VYSE.

Riku just frowns at being told he can't heal Kairi, either. Then he looks around, trying to figure out a pathway out of there that will get them in the least amount of trouble.]

It's fine, we'll figure it out. I can still fight.

Good. It should be easier to get out...the most commotion is where we are, so most everyone is focused on this area. Can she walk by herself?

[He's talking to Riku, but Kairi's welcome to speak up for herself.]

I can walk, just not as well as I once could. So things like running are pretty much out of the question unless I want to possibly cause more damage. Which I'm willing to take if necessary.
