Roxas On The Ship

When: After arriving at the island, Roxas is trying to catch his bearings on the ship. (December 12)

Roxas was confused.

This in itself was not that unusual, however it was different. Everything he worried about just days ago seemed to be less of a problem now that he's found himself in a new, somewhat hostile world. He met Riku and followed him to a ship, and today he was just hanging out, trying to get a feel for the place, and maybe unscramble the mess that was his memories.

In the morning, he can be found sitting on the railing overlooking the sea. Roxas looks content doing so, he had a fascination with the water.

In the afternoon, he can be found in the galley getting a snack, or perhaps down below deck, checking out his room and pacing between it and the steps so he can remember where it is.

In the evening, he can be found on deck on his back, staring at the stars.

[Roxas has been lying there, staring at the stars, but when she speaks, he tilts his head back to look at her.

His eyes go very wide as though she were someone else.]

Namine...

[No, she doesn't look quite right does she? He shakes his head.]

No. Sorry.

[She isn't overly surprised at that reaction, especially considering who Namine was.]

You knew Namine then? [She smiled going to sit down.]

I'm Kairi.

[He sits up as she sits down and he shakes his head.]

No, but I...saw her. I'm Roxas. She knew me, I think.

[watchesthesea]

[She nods slightly.]

I'm Kairi, it's nice to speak to you. But at least I know your from my world, or at least the same universe of course.

Yeah, Kairi. That fits you. I remember you from my dreams, I think.

[He hums a bit.] You know me?

[watchesthesea]

[She nods, she can recall the time when she suddenly remembered who Sora was, she remembered talking to someone but who wasn't there face to face. This must have been the guy.]

I do remember you, actually. Just before I recalled who Sora was, I believe I spoke to you.

[Did she? His brow creases as he frowns a bit, trying to remember. When did he speak to Kairi?]

I'm not sure...but you'd know better than me, probably.

[watchesthesea]

[She looks up at the stars, mostly thinking to herself as she did.]

I only know so much myself, if I don't remember something, I try and move on from it. It works out that way.

[Roxas scratches his head a little, thinking about that.]

I guess, but I don't remember a lot of things. Sometimes I can't do that. Some of those things are important. Everything's kind of mixed up in my head still.

[watchesthesea]

[She looks on quietly for a moment. She felt sorry for him, not remembering things, possibly important things.]

So is there no way for you to know.

Axel always reminds me of stuff I forget. I guess that's how I know. If it's important he'll tell me to memorize it.

[Roxas smiles. He thinks of Axel fondly. Even though they fought for reasons he's not a hundred percent sure of, Lea's forgiven him, and that's all that matters.]

He's here too, but he's a heart-person now.

[watchesthesea]

[She nodded, though she didn't actually know he was a heart person, as Roxas put it so she pauses, her face showing her confusion if even for a moment before she smiles again.]

I'm glad you have someone you know well enough at least.

Yeah, I'm really happy I get to spend some more time with him before I disappear.

[He tilts his head, looking at her.]

I don't know much about you. I saw you in some dreams though. You grew up with Sora and liked to play on the beach with him, right?

[watchesthesea]

[She moved her hair a little. Although when trying her hair would fall through her fingers. She still wasn't yet use to having short hair again at all.]

I'm glad you get to spend time with close friends, but I'm sure here you won't disappear, after all Sora is fine and moving around as normal.

[Plus if that was the case, she was certain he would have by now. At the question though, he gives a small nod.]

That's right.

[Riku said the same thing and he smiles. He hopes not.]

Was it fun?

[watchesthesea]

It was. While there wasn't always a huge amount to do, we still always had fun as always.

[Thinking about she sometimes missed those moments. But they all did decide to travel to others worlds, but she always knew they'd always come back, after all she always did.]

What other things did you do?

[watchesthesea]

Played games, making sandcastles, drawing on the cave walls sometimes. It was all quite enjoyable.

Wow, that sounds like a lot of fun!
