Roxas On The Ship

Roxas was confused.

This in itself was not that unusual, however it was different. Everything he worried about just days ago seemed to be less of a problem now that he's found himself in a new, somewhat hostile world. He met Riku and followed him to a ship, and today he was just hanging out, trying to get a feel for the place, and maybe unscramble the mess that was his memories.

In the morning, he can be found sitting on the railing overlooking the sea. Roxas looks content doing so, he had a fascination with the water.

In the afternoon, he can be found in the galley getting a snack, or perhaps down below deck, checking out his room and pacing between it and the steps so he can remember where it is.

In the evening, he can be found on deck on his back, staring at the stars.

I won't. We eat it pretty slow, I think. Usually we're talking and he's telling me dumb things like why the sunset is red.

[Roxas smiles, shrugging a bit. Axel's a little weird.]

Well... That's not a dumb thing. I mean, how are you supposed to know that when you're technically only a baby?

*She winks at him, because she's only teasing - but she makes a mental note to be gentle with this guy*

Well I didn't ask him! He was always telling me stuff like that, and not telling me things I ask about.

Really? Huh, well, that makes sense, I guess.

*She raises a brow at that second part though*

Oh, really? What sorta thing wouldn't he tell you about?

Lots of things! He's always telling me to stop asking questions when he gets sick of it.

*Selphie can't help but giggle at that*

Aww - people do that to me a lot too. But being curious isn't a bad thing, and I guess you've got a lot to learn!

Maybe. I ask questions all the time though! Sometimes I can't remember it.

[booyaka_boom]

*Selphie frowns a little at that*

Yeah...Memory is a weird thing. Have you tried writing everything down? That's what I do.

Yeah, I used to keep a journal for that. I can't remember who told me to start doing that, but it's a little hard to do.

[Roxas runs his hand through his hair.]

Axel always tells me what to remember.

It's only hard to do if you're being lazy about it.

*She giggles and winks at him*

So you could also voice record stuff if it's easier. Or, yeah, just hope you have your friend Axel around you the whole time.

No, I just don't know what to write sometimes. It doesn't make much sense. I try and think of something and nothing comes out of my head.

[He smiles.]

That'd be nice, but I think Lea wouldn't do that.

Well... I'm sure you'll figure out something eventually. You're only super young after all, so maybe it'll get easier once you grow up!
