The mistletoe was just the start of Selphie's Christmas cheer spreading. Of course, she hadn't exactly gone round advertising she had done, but anyone who had come across some might have guessed. Next on Selphie's list was her Christmas outfit. She has ordered one from the delivery service, so can be found running around on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day all dressed up in an elf costume.

Christmas Eve - Selphie has completely decorated the galley, and is in the process of heating up a large pot of mulled wine. She thought about baking Christmas cookies, but she was scared of making a total mess of it, so there's a bowl of half-made cookie dough sitting on the side too. As she's stirring the mulled wine, or cleaning the tables, Selphie can be heard singing a variety of Christmas songs, some of which she seems to be making up as she goes along.   

Christmas Day - every member of the crew will have woken up to a small gift by their room/dorm. She has carefully selected different chocolates and candies in different shapes, flavours, and colours, and they've all been carefully wrapped, with a mega (and rather unnecessary) amount of ribbon. There's a handmade card for each member of the crew too. Selphie has drawn a picture of something on the front that she associates with that particular pirate. She's not the most artistic person in the world, but she's not awful either, so the drawings are kind of cute. In all, despite the little money Selphie has, she's made an effort to make the presents as individual as possible, and she really hopes they're liked. She keeps out of the galley on Christmas Day, because no doubt lots of things are going on in their in preparation for Christmas dinner, or something, but she can be found here or there about the ship as usual, looking pretty happy in her elf costume.

[Peeks into the galley before entering, checking to see who's there and mentally mapping out where all the mistletoe is so he can dodge it. Once he's got a safe path worked out, he makes his way over to where Selphie is singing away. She looks so happy, he can't help but grin as he leans against the counter.]

*Selphie has a ladel in her hand scooping up the mulled wine so that she can smell some. Satisfied, she turns to Riku with a smile and a nod before continuing to stir it*

[Gestures at the ladle.]

Mulled wine! And it's nearly hot enough to drink!

*She stirs the liquid, then turns the heat down*

[And at some point while Riku is wandering around, Natsuno's going to find him and tug on his sleeve]

Chirstmas Eve/Christmas Day

[Natsuno can be found wandering the deck of the ship. He looks around, leaning on the railing or poking around the galley at the snacks. He's not drinking any of the wine, but he's so there for a glob of cookie dough.]

[The present is a surprise, and it's a nice one what with the chocolate and his well hidden sweet tooth. Natsuno has a lot of good habits, but most of which don't involve refraining from chocolate. He opens the box and eats a piece while he's looking for Selphie to thank her.]

*Selphie will be found floating around below deck, or up top, making sure the decorations were still where they should be.

As for Natsuno's card - the front is a picture of a large pair of vampire teeth, but each of the canines has a smiley face on it. Vampirism made sweet*

[Selphie is so weird. Natsuno finds her and clears his throat.]

Christmas Eve/Day (Night Only)

[During the day, Ace would be fast asleep--somewhere on the deck, one hand always securely down the front of his pants as if he were at risk of losing something important.

During the night, he'd wake up and look for what was left over in terms of food and drinks. He could be found doing either, until the latest part of Christmas evening, where he began to pull a set of obscenely ugly sweaters and from a gigantic paper wrap, setting them on deck with crew members' names stitched into them. Every sweater had their owners' names stitched into the front.

When he was done setting everything out, Ace popped the cork out of an untouched bottle of rum and wandered the deck until he found somewhere nice to sit and look at the stars. He hadn't been that talkative, but he was certainly in a good mood.]

*Out on the deck in her elf costume, Selphie was taking a break from being busy all day. Keeping the decorations hanging and everything clean and tidy was quite tiring, so she was ready for the chance to relax. She notices Ace out on the deck and walks on over*

Hey. You keeping this spot for someone or can I sit?

Hmmm. [Ace, leaning back, looked up at Selphie with a measure of a smile. It was just a piece of one--something that threatened to grow into a proper grin, eventually.]

I keep this whole ship for my crew. Last I remembered--you're one of mine, Selphie. Feel free.

Whatever day the gifts come... - OTA

[Some strange ship came by with gifts for everyone, and Roxas opens his gift with bright wide eyes.

Awesome. So so awesome.

He's holding a skateboard just like the one he had in Twilight Town and he's thrilled. He drops it onto the deck and starts riding around, weaving around masts or posts and doing tricks on the railings. It's probably quite loud and noticeable, but Roxas is having fun at any rate.]

*Selphie, meanwhile, is wandering round with her own Christmas gift: a giant chocobo plushy. She doesn't have anything to cuddle on board, and this reminds her of home, so it's exactly what she wanted - even though she never realised. Problem is, it really is so big, that it take both her arms to carry it, and she can't see where she's going with it in front of her. This could make for some kind of disasterous collision if she's not careful*

[Roxas isn't expecting someone to be there and all of a sudden, there Selphie is.]

Whoa!

[Roxas makes a sharp turn just narrowly avoiding her but he hits the side and lands on the ground. Oops.]

[There's something to be said for practical gifts. Usually, Lea would turn his nose up at getting clothes for Christmas, but he's been wearing that black coat for so long that he's forgotten what he looks like wearing anything else. He was weirdly giddy when he found an nice big bundle of appropriately pirate-y clothes in warm shades of orange, yellow and brown. Actual colors! How novel! He's even tried to get his hair contained under a yellow bandanna with a pattern like this old scarf he used to have back in the day.

If he wasn't in such a good mood, he probably would have a smart comment about all the racket Roxas is making in deck, but he's content to watch and cheer him on for a while. That is, until the whole "doing tricks on the railings" thing starts.]

You're gonna fall off!

[Roxas weaves around a few times and jumps off, flipping the skateboard into his hand, stopping in front of Lea.]

What're you wearing?

[He pokes at Lea's hair.]

There's a thing in it. It's all so weird!

[Namur makes her a card in return. He's fairly artistic but not particularly great, his usual doodles tending more toward elaborate graffiti rather than full on drawings. Still he's put some effort into the thing, and finds Selphie during a quiet moment when she isn't paying attention so he can sneak up and drop the envelope into her lap.]

*Selphie swings her legs on her seat in the galley, singing to herself as she cuts out some snowflake shapes out of the pages of some books. Then something lands in her lap, and she starts as she sees the card. She picks it up, smiling brightly, looking to see where it came from, and she'll promptly open it up*

[UNSURPRISINGLY it is her name, drawn and colored in a bright abstract style.]

Christmas Eve AND Day -- SELPHIE HELP HIM

[He can be found hanging around the ship on both days, hanging around. He's attempting to avoid all the miste toe, thanks to overhearing what it means. So, on the first day, he's attempting to figure out what to give people. So he can be found just hanging around the ship, looking like he's focused pretty hard on something.

Towards the end of the day; though, he gives up and decides to go to Selphie for help in deciding on gifts.]

Hey, uh... Can I talk to you for a sec?

DAY

[WHATEVER PICTURE IS ON HIS CARD...he genuinely appreciates it, without a doubt. First thing that morning, he gets to work making her a card, in return. So, Selphie will have one slid under her door, in return! It doesn't have any drawings; but, it does say "Merry Christmas" in big letters on the front, "Thank you for the card and gift! I hope you have a great Christmas!

After that, he can be found hanging around the ship, munching on candy.]

Christmas Eve

[Avoiding the mistletoe you say? What if the mistletoe isn't avoiding you? Or rather, the kid carrying some of the mistletoe around, who's spotted Sora and isn't busy.]

Hey Sora! What'ya thinking about?

[He approaches, plunking the mistletoe onto one of Sora's hair spikes as he does so. Festive.]

AGAIN, I SAY "oiuoijhkls..." because lmao that's too adorable. XD

[Vyse is going to get a confused blink at the stuff being placed in his hair. Vyse, you do know exactly what mistletoe means, right?

Eh, Sora appreciates the gesture, so he offers Vyse a smile and laugh.]

I was just trying to figure out what to get my two best friends for Christmas. Plus, one of them has a birthday this month...And I wasn't able to get one of them anything for her birthday, last month...

[The smile drops and gets replaced by a frustrated sigh as he scratches at the back of his head. Whoops, he feels pretty freakin' awful, at the moment.]

*Selphie appears to be just done with whatever thing it was that she was busy doing when she spies Sora. She smiles at him and tilts her head like she's inviting whatever it is that he wants to talk about*

Sure thing, Sora! Something I can help you with?

*Then she looks around them and leans towards him with a conspiratorial grin*

Do we need to go somewhere more secret?

If you're not busy! [Great! Selphie's the perfect person for this job! To the grin, Sora blinks, though. After a pause, he lets out a laugh, sporting his own sheepish grin.]
