The mistletoe was just the start of Selphie's Christmas cheer spreading. Of course, she hadn't exactly gone round advertising she had done, but anyone who had come across some might have guessed. Next on Selphie's list was her Christmas outfit. She has ordered one from the delivery service, so can be found running around on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day all dressed up in an elf costume.

Christmas Eve - Selphie has completely decorated the galley, and is in the process of heating up a large pot of mulled wine. She thought about baking Christmas cookies, but she was scared of making a total mess of it, so there's a bowl of half-made cookie dough sitting on the side too. As she's stirring the mulled wine, or cleaning the tables, Selphie can be heard singing a variety of Christmas songs, some of which she seems to be making up as she goes along.

Christmas Day - every member of the crew will have woken up to a small gift by their room/dorm. She has carefully selected different chocolates and candies in different shapes, flavours, and colours, and they've all been carefully wrapped, with a mega (and rather unnecessary) amount of ribbon. There's a handmade card for each member of the crew too. Selphie has drawn a picture of something on the front that she associates with that particular pirate. She's not the most artistic person in the world, but she's not awful either, so the drawings are kind of cute. In all, despite the little money Selphie has, she's made an effort to make the presents as individual as possible, and she really hopes they're liked. She keeps out of the galley on Christmas Day, because no doubt lots of things are going on in their in preparation for Christmas dinner, or something, but she can be found here or there about the ship as usual, looking pretty happy in her elf costume.

I did only get one gift though.

[He smiles just a little bit. It's a scarf, it's not very fancy but it's long and it looks warm. Natsuno hasn't seen it, since he ordered it by journal pre-wrapped.]

That's alright, I only got you the one gift, too. It was so late for your birthday, it might as well have been an early Christmas present.

[Pulls out the scarf, his grin stretching a bit wider.]

Nice. Heh, this will definitely come in handy. And it's soft...

[Throws it around his neck, tugging on the ends as he looks down at it.]

I've never had a scarf before. Thank you!

[He returns the smile.]

You're welcome. I'm glad you like it.

When did you even have time to get it?

[Stroking it a bit...it's really soft okay.

I ordered it when the last catalogue came out. I figured I could...tell you how I felt and if not, well you needed a birthday gift anyway.

[His cheeks heat up in a light blush, so yeah he'd been thinking about confessing to Riku anyway.]

[Looks up in surprise.]

Oh yeah? You were going to tell me? Maybe I should've waited, then.

I was thinking about it, but I wasn't sure how you were going to react!

[You did him a favour Riku.]

It's not the kind of thing people who aren't, well interested would be okay with. It was a lot to think about.

[Raises an eyebrow.]

I wasn't sure how you were going to react, and I still did it.

[Leans forward a little.]

Though, I'm glad I did.

Yeah, well...I was going to get to it. Probably.

[He smiles a little bit and steps in closer. He moves his hands to Riku's hips as he leans in closer.]

I'm glad you did, and I'm glad you like the scarf. Merry Christmas.

[He closes the gap and kisses him.]

[Returns the kiss, pulling back after a moment.]

Mm...Merry Christmas, indeed.

[Looks a little mischievous.]

You know what else scarves are good for?

[Natsuno arches an eyebrow. That look.]

No, what're you thinking?

[Grabs the ends of the scarf, flipping it up over his head and wrapping it behind Natsuno's neck instead. He pulls at the ends a bit, tugging Natsuno back in close again.]

I'm think it's good for keeping you where I want you.

[Natsuno swallows and licks his lips. The scarf really is soft.]

Oh, well then, I guess I can't complain about that.

[He smirks back at Riku.]

It'd be hard to walk around if you kept me this close to you all the time. People might talk.

[But since he's here, he'll give him another kiss.]

[Just snorts a little even as he's kissing him back, then shrugs when he pulls away.]

So let them talk. Personally, I think this would be very handy.

[He leans an elbow against the ship's railing, pulling at one end of the scarf again until it slips off Natsuno's neck.]

But I like it too much to let you wear it all the time. So I guess it'll have to stay on me.

[Annnd back around his own neck it goes.]

[Hmm, the scarf is gone, but Natsuno isn't. He smiles at the compliment and kisses him again, just because he can.]

I can live with that, I can come this close to you on request.

No complaints there. [Smiles back.] So have you had a chance to practice with the sword any?

[Natsuno leans against the railing too, a little more of a comfortable distance.]

Well I've been doing the movements you told me to practice, but I don't know if I'm getting any better yet.

Yeah? Well, let's see.

[Pushes off the railing and takes a few steps away.]

Show me. Then I can teach you some new stuff.

[Natsuno steps out from the railing. He pulls out his sword which he's got on hiding well under his jacket and proceeds to show Riku. His stance is well practiced, although his movements are bit too calculated, as though he's thinking through each step.]

[Watches carefully. He looks alright for the most part, and Riku isn't surprised to see the very precise and calculated look of his movements. He's still a beginner, after all, he's got a long way to go and he'll get more natural with practice.

Speaking of which...]

Not bad. [Summons his Keyblade.] Let's see how you do with an actual opponent, though.

[Not that he'll really attack, but this way Natsuno will have less time to think everything through and will be forced to just act.]

[Alright, he holds out his blade, ready for Riku. It would be interesting to see how good his instincts are when it comes to protecting himself, even in a slow practice fight.]

[Comes at him with a few basic attacks, all his moves a tad slow and exaggerated. He wants Natsuno to have enough time to figure out a block or counterattack, but not too much time to keep him from thinking too much.]

[He stumbles a little, fumbling, but at least he can get his sword up in place in time to block. It's a little different in practice after all. All of his thinking is pretty useless when someone's trying to stab him, after all.]

[Tries to stab him some more!

But he lets up eventually, straightening out of his stance.]

Good. That's actually really good, Natsuno. You look like you're getting the hang of it, at least.

Really? It doesn't feel like it's that good. It feels like I don't know what I'm doing and I'm just trying not to get hurt.
