What: Jaune and Weiss take a little trip to a place they never thought they'd go.
Warnings: Tipsy teenagers = PG13 ...but mostly PG.

[so. in the midst of them still getting their ship and crew situation all worked out, jaune wanted to explore a bit more. he had mostly been in town, down at the docks, all over the place in all honesty. however there was one spot he wanted to check out, but he didn't want to go alone.
the tavern.
they were underage back in remnant, but here maybe it wasn't the case. not like jaune had ever had a drink before in his life, but he still wanted to see what it was like nonetheless! he would have asked ruby to go with him, seeing as how they were pretty close friends, but weiss was a little older. besides, he liked spending time with her, he still had a thing for the heiress after all.]

[jaune gestured at the tavern in front of them, seeing as how they had yet to walk in.]

But if you're done then I won't scold you for it just this once! Just once! [ Remember that first pint that Weiss didn't finish? She's.. totally going to accidentally bump it and spill some on the table. This action is followed by a yelp and her trying to dam it with her hands to keep it off the floor while trying to scoot out of the way-- within the chair. ]

[ Yes, she did just consider using Dust to stop alcohol despite her very limited supply. She may've had more than her tiny body can handle at nearly two pints for her first time having anything other than one or two sips of champagne and wine. ]

Jaune, you might suck at a lot of things. You might even just plain suck sometimes. But if you work harder and you get the right direction, then you too can not... completely suck at everything!

I know Pyrrha already forg...forgave me but I know no one else will! That I lied to get into Beacon! I...I faked some papers because I knew I wasn't talented enough to get in!
[he hiccups too, bringing a hand up to run through his hair.]

[ Weiss considered herself to be a fairly reasonable person. She accepted Ruby as leader, she's trying her best to be a better team player, and she's put the situation with Blake behind her. She's even trying not to judge all faunuses just because they're faunus. Those are all things that involve other people still being decent people and her ideas being wrong fundamentally when it came down to it.
There was nothing in her that thought she was wrong about this though. The idea that someone she was supposed to trust had lied and cheated on what she had worked so hard on-- hard enough that she even got a scar despite knowing how to use her aura-- had just skipped ahead and got to a higher place than she had been as a leader was painful. That he was not only a leader and in the same school was bad enough, but he still had only just barely even thought about putting the effort in to get better before they'd ended up here. That... wasn't something she could abide.
Every part of her was screaming to punch him in the face and a bit too much alcohol with that.. well, Weiss wouldn't be finishing her pint. She'd be throwing it at Jaune's head before standing up to stomp off, stopping only to turn around and glare at him. ]
When we get back, I'm reporting you to the headmaster. Ruby got in because she had talent, even if she skipped ahead and has no idea what she's doing, and Professor Ozpin just happened to see her, but at least she didn't cheat. You are just a pretender and-- and I don't like you! I definitely don't trust you!

[he didn't even get the chance to finish his sentence. weiss had tossed the pint at him, and while he coughed over having liquid all over him he just tried to stand up and go after her. it had slipped out, he just said it without thinking. it was thanks to all this alcohol, not only did he feel sick from the booze but he felt horrible for having lied to her. having lied to everyone.
just when he finally got over it too....
he knew the difference between weiss and pyrrha, that pyrrha was kind enough to accept him but weiss wanted him gone. he knew already that she hated him, and this just sealed it.
why was he such a screw-up when it came to friendships?]
