What: Jaune and Weiss take a little trip to a place they never thought they'd go.

[so. in the midst of them still getting their ship and crew situation all worked out, jaune wanted to explore a bit more. he had mostly been in town, down at the docks, all over the place in all honesty. however there was one spot he wanted to check out, but he didn't want to go alone.

the tavern.

they were underage back in remnant, but here maybe it wasn't the case. not like jaune had ever had a drink before in his life, but he still wanted to see what it was like nonetheless! he would have asked ruby to go with him, seeing as how they were pretty close friends, but weiss was a little older. besides, he liked spending time with her, he still had a thing for the heiress after all.]

It won't be that bad Weiss!

[jaune gestured at the tavern in front of them, seeing as how they had yet to walk in.]

So stop worrying!

[ The Tavern. The place that had made staying in the inns so bad was the same place, of all places, that Jaune wanted to find out about. ]

It will be bad! I had enough complaints about the smell of drunk pirates before I was actually in the bar.

[ Despite her complaints, she's still coming with him. Maybe she just wants to explore more. Maybe she wants to make sure something isn't happening that's horribly wrong. Maybe, despite that she doesn't appreciate some of Jaune's uh... advances, if you could call them that, she didn't really want him to get stabbed by a rowdy pirate. Whatever her reason, she was there beside him with her arms crossed, reminiscent of a child who got taken to the dentist after being told they could go to the Vytal Festival.

..You know, except she's a child who was told she could go to the Vytal Festival and got tossed into an island of pirates instead. ]
