We've gotta plan a birthday party, so we've gotta decorate the ships!

[He pauses to do that and puts it away again.] Okay so you need to get things right?

Because you're Roxas' BFF, right?! So you HAVE to help decorate for his birthday!

Wha--since when is it Roxas' birthday? He doesn't even know when his birthday is. I don't even know when his birthday is.

[And he's more likely to know than Roxas. The day Roxas appeared should count, he guesses, but he has no idea what the date was. It was incredibly easy to lose track of time in those days.]

Since today! His birthday is tomorrow! So we have to hurry! HURRY UP SLOW POKE! LAST ONE TO THE SHIPS HAS TO EAT BARNACLES!

[He's not eating barnacles no matter what, but that doesn't mean he's not picking up the pace a bit.]

One day is kinda short notice!

[There wouldn't even be time to buy presents and--WHAT IS HE THINKING?! This whole thing is ridiculous.]

[What is he thinking? That he'll need to help out with his best friend's party!]

[Pinkie Logic is hard to argue with. Even trying to come up with an answer to that is hurting his brain.]

Still, you coulda asked me first. I could at least have told you his birthday is in the summer sometime.

[When exactly he doesn't know. Sora or Riku might, but the two of them had be a bit busy at the time, so who knows if they were paying attention to the date.]

[She stops abruptly and turns to him skeptically.]

Why do I need to ask you? It's HIS birthday! He can have a birthday whenever he wants!

[Roxas hasn't met Aya yet, but interestingly enough he's got a sword out. It's a different kind of sword than what he's used to. Aya is pretty good though, so he's worth watching.

He hops up and sits on the railing.]

[Aside from the greeting, it's up to Aya if he wants to chat.]

It must be nice feeling tall! These make me feel taller, and it's pretty cool!

*She stalks around the path some more before walking over to her, stopping in front of her and sticking out a foot so she can take a better look*

They're kinda tricky, but I'm learning. You sure you don't wanna try?

Well, it's got to look really good, too! No good me feeling good if I'm actually slipping and sliding all over the place and looking stupid, right? That defeats the purpose.

*She grins all the same, pleased with her progress*

Is anypony not friends with Pinkie Pie? [That's a rhetorical question if every any was.] She is my subject at hone, and my crewmate here.

What inspired this bout of practice?

Probably not! *She smiles, answering the question anyway. This pony was really pretty, so Selphie was only too happy to talk with her*

Wee-eell, someone told me that it looks really good when girls where high heels. So she let me borrow hers. I need to practise with them though - they're supposed to make me look taller, with awesome legs!

I don't know...my balance is pretty good, but I have farther to fall than you do! It could be worse, though, I guess...

[She frowns and looks at the shoe. The heel is in a sensible place, at least. She's heard stories about the Demon King's wife and how she fought while wearing tengu geta and she can't even imagine trying that.]

Why do you need to wear them, anyway?

[Touché. Pinkie: all the points, Lea: negative everything. He droops a bit at that one.]

I don't need to, I just thought that it'd be fun! They're supposed to make me look taller, and pretty when I walk. Besides...

*She leans forward, like she's sharing a secret between just the two of them*

I've heard guys really like when girls wear shoes like this!

[Kai's eyes go wide. Suddenly she's much more interested in those shoes.]

Do you think it'll work? Maybe I should get a pair.

[There are decorations EVERYWHERE! Even the galley and bathrooms! There's confetti on every deck of each ship and balloons stringed together that somehow link all the ships together, too. The air is filled with joy, music, more confetti, and excitement!

Pinkie is first to start a pile for presents next to the ice cream cake (can you guess what the ice cream is?!), even if hers is hoofmade. An extra special pirate hat! It's red with gold glitter that spells his name!

Don't worry if you don't have a present! Just come and celebrate his first ever birthday!]
