OPEN LIKE A PINATA! ROXAS' FIRST BIRTHDAY! January 6th!

[There are decorations EVERYWHERE! Even the galley and bathrooms! There's confetti on every deck of each ship and balloons stringed together that somehow link all the ships together, too. The air is filled with joy, music, more confetti, and excitement!

Pinkie is first to start a pile for presents next to the ice cream cake (can you guess what the ice cream is?!), even if hers is hoofmade. An extra special pirate hat! It's red with gold glitter that spells his name!

Don't worry if you don't have a present! Just come and celebrate his first ever birthday!]

Birthday Boy!

[Roxas comes back to the ships from going out earlier in the day and he's completely amazed at all the decorations. He's never seen anything like it of course and it's all so bright and fun. Kind of reminds him of a Struggle tournament, only amped way up.

He climbs on board, looking around in awe. Oh look a cake! Just like Pinkie Pie said there would be. He can't help but go over and look. How did they make the ice cream like that?]

[Somewhere in a forest of candy-colored streamers is Roxas' long-suffering BFF, looking like he's about to keel over. When Pinkie had roped him into helping set up, he hadn't been expecting something of this scale and he's afraid to eat any cake for fear he's going to fall asleep in it. It's not even the amount of decorations that was the problem, it was trying to keep up with the stupid pony. He doesn't even have a present, since he didn't exactly get much notice.

He sighs heavily and leans on the wall and barely even notices Roxas come in.]

[It's okay, once he's done looking at all the bright shiny things, he spies Lea and makes his way over.]

Hi Lea!

Hey, birthday boy.

[He reaches out and ruffles Roxas' hair.]

You do know that your birthday is during the summer sometime, right? What are you getting up to with that pony?

[Roxas flushes a little at his hair being ruffled.]

I don't know when my birthday is. She said it could be today.

[On one hand Ikki seriously wants a piece of whoever thought it was a great idea to decorate so extensively the ships, that way it seems as if there's literally no place to escape from it. On the other hand, this is apparently for Roxas and while he thinks that the kid doesn't need a birthday party... It's probably a start.

When he finds Roxas he's going to hand him a large box with a train set he got at the island. Even if technically the protective gear he got him the other day should count as a present.]

Happy birthday, Roxas. You work fast.

[Oooh, a present. Roxas takes the box from him with a big grin, but he puts it with the others because no one said he could have them yet and he doesn't really know if he's supposed to.]

[Hmmm, is that weird. He points towards Pinkie Pie.]

I met the pony and she said my birthday could be today. Is that bad?

[Maybe he took someone else's birthday.]

Yeah, I guess so.

*There's a rather large present next to all the others. It's wrapped up with a huge yellow bow and a tag that says - Happy Birthday! Love from Selphie (The Girl With The Brown Hair) xxx

When he opens it up, he'll have his very own large plush bird - only this one is a bright red parrot. Selphie will be lurking somewhere nearby, too*

[It takes a bit for Roxas to go open it because someone has to tell him it's okay for him to do it. He smiles at the tag. Right. Selphie. That's her name. He tears the paper open excitedly and smiles brightly. His own stuffed bird! It's almost as good as a live pet. He hugs the stuffed animal to see how soft it is.]

*The parrot should be the perfect amount of softness for hugging - she checked it out herself. Normally, she'd be over there squeezing them both in a birthday hug. But there's something keeping her to the edge of the room - maybe she isn't feeling well. Still, from her seat she can see that he is happy with it*

[He comes to find her eventually, because he has to say thank you, of course.]

[ACCIDENTALLY HERE, idek, he missed the memo but managed to show up anyway. He'll just wander up to Roxas at some point.]

Hey, what's going on?

[It's okay, he can have the whole story because it's pretty exciting.]

Yesterday, I met a pink pony, she's around here somewhere and she told me about birthday parties and she said I could have my birthday today and she made me a party!

[Blinks.]

Wait, so all this is for you?

[And hang on—]

It's your birthday?

[That can't be right...]

[Hajime has never even talked to Roxas before, but if there's a party, then HAJIME IS THERE! Nevermind that she had to pop over from Isla Empieza to get here! She's even fished through all the boxes they found on Breakneck Cay and found a present! What is it? ...a present! She's wrapped it beautifully in some leftover fabric and tied it with a big bow.]

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

[Whoever's birthday it is, surely they'll hear. And so will everyone in about a three mile radius.]

WELCOME!! [Pinkie bounces in with a party hat and party blower.

Wow, you brought a present! I'm sure Roxas will like it! It's his first ever birthday party EVER!

Really? Why hasn't he had a birthday party before? Everyone should have birthday parties!

[She can hardly believe it! If she'd known, she would have come earlier and helped plan the party!]

Right?! But he's never had a birthday PERIOD! NEVER EVER EVEREVEREVER!

*Now this is the kind of party Selphie can really get behind. Someone clearly knows how to decorate properly, and how to really throw a party. Yup, Selphie gives everything an appraising look.

Usually, Selphie would be straight in there and having fun, but this time Selphie just gives everything a small smile and a tight nod, eyeing the strings of the balloons for a long while, touching them gently. She smirks, almost laughing out loud, sharing a secret to herself*

[Pinkie comes along, dancing across the deck to her own beat, skillfully dancing around Selphie before continuing on her way!]

*And that was some pretty good dancing! Selphie would have usually joined in, but this time she just watched, eyes narrowing*

[Eventually she notices that the girl isn't dancing and having a good time, so she sort of moonwalks back to her. Once she arrives, Pinkie will moonwalk in place.]
