You have felt a difference!
[She has no idea of the details, but Ragna's reaction to her question is practically a confirmation.]
When I cast my spells, I remember noticing a consistent and reasonably significant restriction upon my magic. Since the Witch's death I've wondered... was it a consequence of my possession? Or something else entirely?
[With them at sea she can't just go and cast in hopes of an answer, for obvious reasons. Once they are on land and she finds a remote location she will ask Motochika's permission to test her limits, but for now...]
Both you and Zozo displayed your own unique abilities. If it was a wider issue, then you two were the mostly likely candidates in my vicinity.
[It's not that she expects him to confide in her, but she hopes that her explanation will prompt some kind of helpful response.]

... You call that "restricted"?
[It shouldn't really come as a surprise; Ragna knows real magic is nothing to sneeze at, but to think even limited versions of her spells were capable of nearly sinking the whole ship...
He's pretty sure he doesn't want to experience the full power of those.]
Why not ask the zombie, then?
[As helpful as Ragna can ever get. A part of him is curious about the changes Xun Yu has discovered, but obviously he's not willing to share his own. He doubts the two could be compared anyway.]

[She sighs. Why does he have to be so difficult?]
Won't you share even just an indication of the kind of change you've noticed? Is it a restriction on your abilities, or an alteration of their normal state? Have you noted a single effect? Multiple effects? Are the changes consistent or inconsistent?
[She's like a dog with a bone.]

[Details, and ones he has no particular interest in.
Being difficult is one of the things Ragna does best, and it doesn't seem he intends to change that. Still, he has to give it to her: Xun Yu's persistent. The Grim Reaper hesitates for a second, then lets out a resigned sigh himself. Looks like she's not going to leave him alone until he tells her something...]
... Not sure about limited, but... it's different. [He shifts uncomfortably, clearly displeased with the idea of discussing this with her. And hell, where does he even start with that? It's not like Ragna himself really understands how exactly the Azure Grimoire is supposed to work...]
It's been like this all the time ever since I came here.

Notably?

[Being anything but a patient person, it doesn't take long for Ragna to grow irritated with the interrogation. He's not here to answer her stupid questions, goddammit.]
If everything was as it should be, all of you would've noticed.
[Such vague. Much ominous.]

Ragna's comment only piques her curiosity.
She knows that she's walking on thin ice now, however, and so she eases off, though not without shooting him a reassessing look as she puzzles over the new information.]
...Is there anything more that you're willing to say?
no subject
Only that I'm done with your crap.
[... He's fairly certain she's better off not knowing the details, anyway. As is everyone else on the ship.]

For today.]
Thank you.
[It's said somewhat curtly. She does appreciate what he has said, even if his rude manner has a way of getting under her skin.]

Ragna responds with a shrug and, having nothing else to add, turns around to walk away.
Thanks to that conversation, he has a bunch of things to think over.]
