Who: Crew of the Shepherd + anyone who would be around
What: I want caaaandy!
Where: The ship and all around (catch-all event thread)
When: 9th onward

The Shepherds had picked up several new crew members in recent days, but it seemed that the world they were now in had seen fit to share with them another new addition: the presence of bowls of heart shaped candy strewn about the ship.

It seemed shenanigans were about to be afoot.

Mana didn't answer Rikka at first. Instead, she just stared at the other girl for a brief moment, before surging forward like a rocket and practically tackling her into a hug.

"Rikka!" she exclaimed joyously. "Yeah, everything's just fine! How about you?"

She's not prepared for that at all, and when Mana comes charging in, Rikka actually loses her balance, and they crash onto the deck. Mana is probably fine since she's landing on the bluenette, but Rikka bounces, her back jostling a bit, and she makes a mental note to thank Tear later; that would have left her screaming a week ago. Now... it just gives her a very, very red face.

"M-Mana... I... yes, I..." She can't get a word out edgewise, and she's not quite sure why. Until she feels a twinge, and a sudden desire to push herself off the ground just a little. She starts to open her mouth to say something else, before she has an urge she can't quite explain that involves Mana's lips.

Aaand then she suddenly knows what the candy was, as she leans forward and gently presses her lips to Mana's, her face growing so hot you could probably fry something on it as she processes what's going on but fails spectacularly at pulling back immediately.

"... Ah! Sorry, Rikka! I didn't mean to knock you down! Is your back okay?! I didn't-"

That's all she can say before Rikka's lips meet her own, and Mana is literally consumed with the desire to kiss her girlfriend back with the same intensity Rikka was giving it.

Any thoughts of answering are overridden by, well, a lot of things. The warm feeling she's kind of enjoying. The fact that she's kind of wanted to know what this felt like for a while. The fact that, for some reason, she's getting a taste... not unlike what she remembered of the taste of Mana's blood, months ago. Those thoughts are distracting her from really noticing what she's doing for a good few seconds, but eventually she realizes she's not breathing, and everything comes back, and she parts from Mana a little reluctantly.

"I... huh. I didn't think that would feel that good. Um, sorry. That was... kind of sudden."

Mana stood there in a daze, a big dopey smile on her face. She just looked at Rikka and giggled.

"It was awesome," she said, rather high on the moment.

She's still a little breathless as she tries to put the last few seconds together in her head, because everything kind of... washed away. She hadn't really expected to feel like that, and she started to realize why this was so popular. She could... definitely get used to this. And with Mana it was something she didn't have to wonder about - they knew each other so well already that they just kind of... fit together. This was just something new to learn about her closest person. And she liked it. A lot.

There's a pause as she licks her lips, taking in that taste again that she can't get out of her head. Dammit Mana, this is your fault, you're making her a love freak. And she doesn't even mind!

"...Do you want to do it again?" is what slips out of her mouth breathlessly as she tries and fails spectacularly to get herself back under control, face perhaps even more red than before.

"Of course I do!" Mana replied, a bit more eagerly than she should have. Oh dear, she's got that "let's go for it!" expression on her face... "And I want to do it with Alice too! All three of us!"

"I'm... not sure about all that." It's an upbeat denial, with only a hint of nervousness. "Maybe someday soon... but for now, let me get used to just one person, okay? Let me get used to her, and to you, and then I'll figure out how to keep up with both of you at once."
