[Riku probably should've done this sooner, but the past couple of days have been a little crazy with the candies making everyone go bonkers and then Ace having them set sail all of a sudden. He hasn't been avoiding talking to Natsuno...not really.

...Maybe a little.

But he knows Natsuno is scheduled for watch duty right now, so it seems like as good a time as any. He makes his way over to the Sun from the Moon, then climbs up to the crow's nest and pokes his head over the edge.]

[He clears his throat and takes a deep breath to try and control his emotions.]

Alright, Riku.

[What can he really do in this case?]

[Watches him for a moment.]

...If I hug you will you hit me?

[He shakes his head. Natsuno doesn't say anything, his shoulders are slumped. He feels defeated.]

[More or less lunges forward, arms wrapping tight around Natsuno's shoulders. Probably won't do any good, if anything he'll only make this worse, but he can't help it. He wants to.

He kind of mumbles his next words into Natsuno's neck.]

When's the last time you ate?

[He lets Riku, he doesn't fight it, even though he has to brush another tear away on his shoulder. Natsuno shouldn't let this get the best of him, but he can't help it.]

When I came back.

[His voice is a little unsteady.]

Do you need to?

[Pulls back.]

I mean. Arm.

[Gestures. He doesn't think he should be offering his neck right now.]

[He nods a bit.]

I need to, but I bit you last time. It's not a good idea. If you pass out, Thatch will be upset with me.

[He tries not to feel a little hurt by it.]

[Flat look.]

I'm not gonna pass out.

It hasn't quite been a month yet, has it? I'm not going to put you at risk Riku. I'll be fine.

[He shouldn't care, he shouldn't mind if he hurts him, but he does. He doesn't want to hurt Riku.]

[Looks like he's going to be stubborn about it for a minute, but then he relents, letting his arm fall.]

Alright, fine.

[...And there's really not much to say after that. He awkwardly scratches the back of his head.]

I'll...see you later, then?

Yeah. Okay.

[Natsuno whispers his response, he doesn't know if he wants Riku to leave or stay or what. He doesn't want to be in this situation, with his heart in his throat.]

[Sighs.]

Okay.

[Climbs out of the crow's nest, slowly, and he hesitates for a moment, looking back at Natsuno, wondering if he should apologize again, or ask if he's okay...but he knows the answer to that already, and ultimately he disappears down the rigging without another word.]
