The contents of Flynn's money pouch had been replaced. Where once gald coins had been were now unfamiliar coins... Flynn assumed they must be this place's currency or else he didn't know why else it'd be in his money pouch.

His eyes swept across the round table they all stood at, at all the other people from their world (that they knew of) before emptying the contents of his pouch on the table in front of them.

"This is all I have. If we're going to get a ship big enough for all of us and with the most facilities to make our voyage as comfortable as possible, I think we'll have to each chip in."

Flynn nods. "I think we should aim to have cabins for each and every member of the crew. Unless anyone of you would prefer to share rooms with someone else."

"Not ideal if I'm going to get any real research going into the weird magic of this place. You don't want a lab like that in someone else's bedroom."

Which of course meant Rita planned to sleep in her lab, just like back in Aspio.

Not the healthiest choice by any measure...

"But, um....that doesn't mean you want to sleep in your lab, right? I'm sure we could figure out a separate room for that, Rita.....that might mot be very safe for you or anyone else to sleep in there."

Because who knows what she might end up getting into with her research. Estelle doesn't want to take any chances, even as she definitely agrees with Flynn there that they should probably all have their own little space at least.

Have I mentioned I hate having two accounts for the same character sometimes?

"It's more efficient to be able to just stop and rest without extra steps..."

... Of course, Rita knew she wasn't going to win this argument.

I can imagine. I just have one for each of mine myself.

"Those extra steps could also be efficient in keeping you and the rest of us safe, Rita. I just wouldn't want you getting hurt or something because you are sleeping in there when it might be dangerous with your research, that's all....."

Of course Estelle is concerned and still gently pressing the issue, not going to let it slide too easily if it involves Rita's safety, that of their group as a whole even.

"... It's not like I don't know what I 'm doing..."

"I'm not saying you don't, Rita. I just wouldn't want anything to happen, even accidentally. I'm sure if I did that you would be worried, right? It's the same for me. I just want to make sure the ship, and you, are safe."

She doesn't mean to offend of anger, merely stating her position on the matter.

"... Right, I understand. Mind, while we're moving, I won't be able to do a lot anyway. Real research requires a steady position."

"Oh. I guess so. I guess we will see how much room we have on the ship first. Before we worry about things like that, okay?"

Estelle would not be surprised at all if Rita still ended up curious and working to fix this or that on the ship. Especially without a blastia, she would likely want to come up with all sorts of different ideas for improvements to compensate for that. She can't help but give a small, almost knowing smile.

"What kind of experiments are you thinking of, Miss Rita? If we are to allocate a room for that, we have to know that at the very least. If heavy fumes are involved, for example, it would have to be in the upper levels of the ship...."

Flynn explains.

"Oh! Yes, that is a good point. I wasn't really thinking of things that much. I'm sure Rita would know what she requires though."

Estelle trusts her friend, of course. And Rita knows her stuff, what would be required and best suited for her research needs in regards to the location on the ship.

"Right, Rita? Once we have a look at the ships, you can decide if and where you've like your research room to be."

Rita nodded. "We'll need a more stable room. Preferably one where it's not too difficult to roll stuff out, for switching to a land-bound lab every so often," she observed aloud. "But... The cost is definitely an issue."

[astion]

"Hm. I'm sure all together we'll have enough for a decent ship and some supplies if we all put some money towards it. Don't worry about that. We'll figure something out that we're all happy with."

Estelle tries to reassure Rita and the rest, not thinking twice about the idea of withholding any money from helping the group get what they need. What would make everyone happy and comfortable and cater to all of their needs and desires if they are to be spending so much time at sea in this ship.

"Well, yeah. If we pool funds, we should be fine? Maybe?"

With a bit more excitement and eagerness than was probably warranted, Raven quickly chimed in, "I wouldn't mind sharing a room with Judith darlin'!"

His response should not have been a surprise. Not that he wouldn't mind having his own room, but why waste such a golden opportunity?

"I don't see why not. I mean. If Judith doesn't mind, that is."

Because of course they can't make that call without checking with the other prospective room-mate. It would seem the implication and excitement there goes over Estelle's head, at least initially for the time being as she simply turns to Judith curiously, waiting for her response.

"Judith? Would that be okay?"

Estelle would not blame her for saying no. She herself has proximity concerns where Raven is involved, after all.

Judith has been keeping quiet in the back for most of the planning and debates, a soft smile and agreeable attitude displayed as per usual with her. Of course, she chimes in when addressed and when her special brand of advice is needed. And oh, would you look at that? She's being addressed, and in perhaps the most interesting subject to come to the table yet.

Her smile dips into a slight frown as she watches Raven pitch his idea. She balls her hand up into a fist and cracks it, then proceeds to do it with the other hand, back and forth as her lips once again curve back into a grin.

"Oh, if Raven thinks he can handle me, then by all means," she offers back, eyes glinting playfully. Raven and Estelle both know her well, but not well enough to know if she's joking. A bad liar she claims to be, but that's all part of the mystery. It's not as if this is something that will come to pass, and even if it does Judith doesn't sleep most of the night anyway.

So why not have some fun with it?

Hearing Estelle actually agree to his crazy idea almost made him want to clarify that he was just joking. But Judith was already cracking her knuckles.

Oh boy.

Still, although he may have swallowed a bit, he can still carry on a grin and play along until it got a little too hot for him to handle.

"Might depend on the handlin'. Ya know I prefer a gentle touch, Judith darlin'."

His words were still in step with hers, which was basically giving double meaning.

And while Raven was talking about this, Flynn was there on side looking a bit redder than usual. Sure, Flynn has no objection if Miss Judith wants to room with Raven but... still...

Yuri knows there's double meaning in what's being said, but he doesn't think too much into it. He's just amused.

"Well. I don't see any problem, if you are both agreeing to it. Sharing would mean we could possibly save and get a smaller ship that might be a bit cheaper...."

But of course, the double meanings mostly tend to fly over Estelle's head, so it is hardly surprising that she is oblivious to the real conversation and innuendo. She pauses when she glances to Flynn, frowning.

"Are you okay, Flynn? You seem all red. You're not sick, are you?"

"We can't always have what we prefer."

"Gentle touch" isn't a term familiar to Judith's vocabulary, even though she's more than positive Raven and everyone currently present in this room is aware of that fact, being the unusual Krityan that she is. She nods at Estelle though, in reference to them having to share a room if need be, because it wouldn't be that big of a problem. At least, it won't be if Raven wants to keep on living.

To her mentioning Flynn, Judith merely finishes her threatening display and folds her arms. An equally amused look bounces from Yuri, then rests on the blond knight, awaiting his response.

"Sad, but true. Can't mean we can't come to a compromise of sorts?"

He saw those crossed arms. Well even if he couldn't, oh you know, take advantage of the situation, the fact that he could possibly be in the same room would the Krityan beauty was really good enough. Not his fault if there may be some accidental mishaps.

Though yes, all eyes were now on Flynn, including his. The kid was amusing to watch, needless to say.
