The contents of Flynn's money pouch had been replaced. Where once gald coins had been were now unfamiliar coins... Flynn assumed they must be this place's currency or else he didn't know why else it'd be in his money pouch.

His eyes swept across the round table they all stood at, at all the other people from their world (that they knew of) before emptying the contents of his pouch on the table in front of them.

"This is all I have. If we're going to get a ship big enough for all of us and with the most facilities to make our voyage as comfortable as possible, I think we'll have to each chip in."

"You mean the money we're going to use to buy food and supplies after we buy a boat?"

Listen, Yuri's not going to hear it. They're all in this together for better or for worse. That includes a certain Raven.

"Yes, that."

He just wanted to get out of the more grueling chores, okay. But he was starting to see that this is going to be harder than he anticipated (really, he should have anticipated it).

"Okay, okay, I'll help out! Almost afraid of what Rita would do with that spare cash, anyway." Instead of buying food, she might come back with, oh who knows, some gadget that burns people.

"So whaddya want me to do, cap'n?"

"Well, for starters we need to figure out what kind of boat to get. We got lucky last time and got one that was perfect for us. This time we need to research what'll do us good."

And you know Yuri and his research on things that aren't fighting. It's just something that won't happen. He's just making sure everyone's here to chip in for this, ensuring they stick together.

"And I'm not the captain here. Don't intend to be."

"Hmm, I may not be a sailor, but I may be able to help out on gettin' that info. I can ask around, see what folks suggest, but I'll need ta know of any specifics I should be keepin' an eye out for."

Who better to get information than the old man who pretty much lived his life doing just that? At Yuri's comment on being captain—well, it was what he had expected.

"Well with Karol not bein' around, that would put as the 'leader' of our little group. But there's also Flynn, so I'm guessin' he'll take the role?"

With Yuri as first mate probably. At least that was how Raven was really seeing it.

"A boat that can hold all of us, for starters." He says this with his usual confidence and nonchalance, but it's obvious he doesn't know what they need beyond that. It's why he's calling on Raven to do that work.

"As for the leader, we were thinking Estelle might be the best." One, he doesn't want Flynn in charge, two, Flynn wants someone that can control Yuri, three, Yuri's not leadership material. Still, he might be a first mate still. Just he's not the moral compass. Never has been, never will be.

"...Uh huh. Well ya know there are different sizes of ships, each of them built with different number of rooms." Though Raven had an inkling he was going to be the one figuring all this out on his own.

There was a slight look of surprise.

"Estelle?"

But then when he thought about it, considering the types of individuals here... A grin formed before he chuckled.

"Well I can bet that we'll have the cutest captain. No harm will come our way with her at the helm."

Really, without their captain, who can they expect as their leader? At least that's Yuri's thoughts about it. Rita would destroy everything. Flynn, while he would be a great leader, would just be rebelled against by Yuri and Judy. Judy, well they'd just go on a blood reign rampage, same with Yuri. And Raven? Sorry, Old Man. He's still trying to get his trust back in him.

"Even if it does, we'll take care of it."

Precisely why Yuri shouldn't be the leader. He'll beat the shit out of anything that dares piss him off.

While Raven could be a pretty good captain given his resume, yeah that resume also had a few things that made it questionable. Including his lack of motivation and want to be in any type of leadership role for a while. Assisting? Sure. Taking the lead? Let the younguns do it.

"She'll definitely have three stalwart bodyguards at least," the old man grinned with a chuckle.

"All right, I'll set ta huntin' for the ship once I know what the budget is."
