[He's swinging his blade at her side, after he flipped it to hit her with the blunt side. If he's going to go for it, he's not intending on cutting her up, that probably wouldn't be good. He's not intending to hit her too forcefully, but at the same time, he's moving pretty quick.]

*The blunt side of his blade hits hard against her hip and ribs, the force causing her to drop to the deck. She still holds onto one end of her weapon, but the other is clutching at her sides*

Ow, Roxas. That was hard...

*But she still seems to be managing some sort of a smile through her wince*

[Roxas looks alarmed.]

Sorry Selphie, I didn't mean to hurt you. Are you okay?

Yeah. A bit bruised, I bet, but it'll be okay.

*Though she does take her hand away and glance at it for any signs of blood, just in case*

You know this would be the point where I'd burn you alive, right?

[Roxas laughs a little, since she seems to be okay.]

You think you can? Lea uses fire.

*Selphie slowly pulls herself to her feet, hand still on her ribs as she has a little difficult standing straight*

I could burn you, fry you, freeze you. Over and over.

I can do that too! I just prefer my keyblades.

[Roxas swings it back up onto his shoulders. She looks like she's still hurt.]

Are you sure you're okay?

Really? I like a bit of both!

*She smiles and nods, rubbing her side gently*

It's just gonna bruise is all.

Larxene taught me how to use magic, but I don't think I'm patient enough. It isn't very strong, not like Sora's.

[Oof, doesn't he remember the strength of Sora's magic? That was quite the fight they had when he was possessed.]

*Selphie gives a nod at that*

Magic takes a lot of patience, and hard work. Hey, maybe I should spar my magic with Sora sometime!

[Roxas smiles gently.]

You wanna take a break?

That could be some really good fun! But pretty dangerous too, ya know.

*She winks at him and smiles back*

Yeah. But, only a little one. I don't want you thinking that I was totally defeated or anything.

[He's totally thinking that.]

I guess it could be dangerous, but you might get better too.

[His keyblade vanishes.]

*No, Roxas, don't. Her ribs are super bruised, okay? She's just looking after herself, that's all*

He-ey! My magic skills are awesome! Sure, everyone can get better, but they're great, okay?

*Mumbling slightly because...pride*

I can't say if they are or not, I don't know much about them.

[Roxas shrugs a little bit. He smiles though.]

Do you fight a lot?

*Pout, pout, but she eventually smiles back*

Yeah. I do. It's kinda my job. But magic is my strong point. My serious, serious strong point.

Your job too, huh? It used to be my job to fight Heartless.

Used to be? How come that isn't what you do anymore?

*Making a beeline for the refreshments table here. She needs some lemonade*

Oh, I uh, kind of left. I was fighting with Axel about...something. I can't really remember the details. He was keeping things from me and then I forgot most of the day I left, but yeah. I wouldn't go back. I'm not sure why but I don't think Kingdom Hearts is a good thing.

[He tilts his head.]

Also, Namine said I was one of the bad guys.

Oh... Kingdom Hearts? Is that where you used to live?

*Though she was smiling at first, it turns into a gentle frown*

A bad guy? Why?

Nope! I lived in a castle with Organization XIII. Kingdom Hearts is what we were doing. The Heartless would take people's hearts, and I would hit them with the keyblade and we would send the hearts to join together in Kingdom Hearts so we could get our own hearts. It's bad because...well, I'm not sure. Namine said the Organization is bad, and I remember wanting to destroy Kingdom Hearts...but there's a lot missing up in my head.

Oh, like the name of the operation or whatever? *Because Selphie is used to doing missions with code name*

Hmm... Do you think you're bad, Roxas? *This Namine sure seemed to have a lot to answer for*

[Roxas shakes his head.]

No, that's the name of the group. We were thirteen Nobodies. I was number thirteen and Axel was eight. I don't think my missions had a name.

[Technically, Roxas is his codename, isn't it. That, or 'The Key of Destiny'. It's very confusing.]

I don't really know. I'm not entirely sure why I walked away. I could be bad. I did bad things. I joined Organization XIII when I turned up in Twilight Town that first day, looking for answers I guess.

*But she smiles and shrugs lightly anyway*

Well, everyone's done bad things. I don't think I've met anyone who hasn't... But, why would you worry about things that happened that you don't remember? Memories are only worth it if you can remember them and learn from them. Otherwise, I wouldn't stress about it too much. It can really, really hurt your head.

*As she knew too well. Even being here, people telling her that she knows them, that she grew up with them. And it physically hurt sometimes, not being able to remember*

I know, my head hurts sometimes when I think about things I don't remember. Or try to anyway. I guess I don't really worry about it.
