Who: Raphael and anyone still around Isla Empieza! Plus Hiccup and Gaius.
Where: Isla Empieza, around town.
When: February 27th and on...he'll be around for a few more days, at least.
What: Anything! Introducing crew members to each other, maybe meeting others...?
Warnings: None.
Style: Action.
Status: Open.
[By now Raph has kind of realized that he's probably not the weirdest thing in this world, not to mention that, you know, it isn't HIS world anyway so as far as he's concerned the same rules don't apply here. He doesn't have to stay hidden, it doesn't matter if the humans see him, he can come out during the day...
There's not really a cool sewer system to hide in anyway.
And even if there was, it'd be seriously lacking in arcade machines.
So he's out and about in town, running around, leaping from building to building, swinging off whatever he can and flipping through the air to land somewhere else.
Training, basically. Can't slack, not when there's certain pirate ghosts that still need a good face punching.
He might also be sitting on the stone edge of the fountain, legs crossed as he tries (and probably fails) to meditate. Chances are he's inconspicuously people watchingand getting a kick out of all the double-takes he's getting.]

[That's a 'now I know what happened (sort of)' type of sound.
But while Gaius and Raph go over the details on how to make pizza, Hiccup dives into the harder stuff.]
...What exactly is mutagen, anyway?
no subject
Raph glances over at Hiccup.]
That...is really more of a Donnie question. It's like this weird glowing blue-green ooze. Comes from an alien dimension. It's been giving us nothing but problems lately because it keeps turning people into crazy mutants, and not all of them turn out as good looking as me.
[Cocky little grin, though he's teasing, then it's back to the pizza.]
We could probably just cook it right on the cutting board. Just roll it out so it's a circle and it touches the sides. It'll shrink up some when it cooks.
[Reaches for the tomatoes.]
I can start slicing these up.

Funny how it seems that things from another dimension or world are a trend for starting trouble.
[The Risen, aliens, everyone being brought here...]
Roll it out- on it.
[He picked up the wooden rolling pin, twirling it in hand before he set it down with a plop onto the lump of dough to start flattening it out.]

Your brother, right? But with what you've just said, I got a better idea of what it's suppose to look like.
[Not to mention it sounds gross, too, but that comment isn't necessary.
A brief glance toward Gaius is one of wonder. Obviously, he has experience with foreign things that shouldn't be there.]
If it's not from other worlds, sometimes it happens within the same one. And when it gets too frequent, it starts to feel like something normal.

[Grabs a knife and starts slicing the tomatoes. It's not tomato sauce, but it'll do.]
You're right about that, though. A year ago aliens didn't exist outside my comics and stuff. Now I don't even bat an eye at them.
no subject
[He gives one more roll of the pin over the dough before glancing over towards Raphael again.]
How's that look?
no subject
[He's glad he doesn't have brothers. He gets enough ribbing from the Vikings as it is. There is a curious look about that 'nerd' bit.
He can learn about that later, though. Just a nod in turn for what the other two have said.]
Yeah. Hopefully.
[This is followed by an awkward pause as he watches Gaius get approval on the pizza-making.]
Should I...be doing something?
no subject
That works.
[Starts laying tomato slices on top, shrugging in response to Hiccup.]
Eh, it's not very complicated. You could grate the cheese, I guess. Lots.
[Looks at him.]
And I mean lots.
no subject
There you go. Should be a grater over there.
no subject
And cheese acquired.]
...Thanks.
[It's not hard finding the grater among the sparse utilities they have within the galley. Shifting the thing in his hand, he picks a spot and starts grating.]
no subject
Raph finishes with the tomatoes, then he leans against the table, resting an arm on top as they wait for Hiccup.]
Sooo...what about you? You got any family back home?
[The question is for Hiccup, since he's already gotten nosy with Gaius.]

[A good pile of cheese forms, all of it neatly swept to one side before he starts grating more.]
My dad, for starters, is the very pinnacle of Viking-hood. He towers over just about everyone in the village. Red hair, red beard, massive arms.
Huge man, very little patience for anything dumb.
no subject
I like him already. Does he kick butt a lot?
[Though, how Hiccup came from someone supposedly that big... Maybe he takes more after his mom? Raph's just not gonna question it.]
no subject
A shrug.]
He punched a dragon.
no subject
That is awesome. Maybe he'll show up here next month!
[Starts sprinkling Hiccup's cheese pile over the pizza.]
no subject
One can only hope, right?
[He's sort of half and half with this. One because it's his dad, and two...because it's his dad.]
no subject
[Finishes putting the cheese on, giving an approving nod.]
I think that's enough.
no subject
[This similarity sort of amuses him.
Whatever is left of the cheese is placed to the side, leaving Hiccup to clap his hands together in order dust them off.]
no subject
[Glances at Gaius.]
Just need the sausage now and then we can cook it!
no subject
He gives Raphael a nod, setting down his knife to pick up a handful of the sausage slices, bringing them over to start placing them on their creation.]
About how long? Oven should still be heated up from that pie, but I'm guessing this won't take nearly as long.
no subject
Looks pretty thin.
[A quick glance back at Raph.]
This is what you normally eat?
no subject
Recently, yeah. We didn't know this even existed for like fifteen years. Man, were we missing out.
[Pokes at it.]
We'll see how this turns out, though. It's not exactly the same. Anyway, just cook it till the crust is done. Probably won't take long.
no subject
Well, getting it out is going to be interesting. And we'll have one charred cutting board, but I don't think it should burn, at least.
no subject
[A hand gestures toward the fire and pizza.]
If we had some spare parts, it would be pretty easy to assemble something for better reach.
