[By now Raph has kind of realized that he's probably not the weirdest thing in this world, not to mention that, you know, it isn't HIS world anyway so as far as he's concerned the same rules don't apply here. He doesn't have to stay hidden, it doesn't matter if the humans see him, he can come out during the day...

There's not really a cool sewer system to hide in anyway.

And even if there was, it'd be seriously lacking in arcade machines.

So he's out and about in town, running around, leaping from building to building, swinging off whatever he can and flipping through the air to land somewhere else.

Training, basically. Can't slack, not when there's certain pirate ghosts that still need a good face punching.

He might also be sitting on the stone edge of the fountain, legs crossed as he tries (and probably fails) to meditate. Chances are he's inconspicuously people watching and getting a kick out of all the double-takes he's getting.]

[Oh shit oh shit oh shit -- somebody else is ninja'ing around! It's not Sakura-chan or Sasuke or Hinata or Itachi; he knows because the chakra is different.

Also, because the dude is green. Is he a turtle? HE IS A TURTLE! Which... isn't as much a shock to Naruto as it might be to someone else. After all, Naruto himself can summon ninja toads and frogs, but it's still really cool! Is he from Naruto's world!? Is he somebody else's ninja animal summon?

That's why he is doing the same ninja thing, running around and leaping from building to building. He gets up towards Raph's side and then salutes as they keep moving.]

Heeeeeey! What's up?!

[Gives Naruto a somewhat surprised look, since he wasn't expecting anyone else here to just suddenly be running alongside him, actually keeping up when he leaps to the next building.]

Uhh...hey. Just getting some training in.

[He jumps up and kicks off another wall, angling himself at the next rooftop and landing in a roll before hopping right back up to continue running. When Naruto is still right beside him, he shoots him a sharp grin.]

I'm guessing you've done this before!

[obstinates]

[Yessssssss, he talks too. He has to be a ninja summon! Or something.]

[Naruto follows along with pretty much the same maneuver, even sticking on the wall for a second before running along it and then landing nearby once more.]

Yeah! Of course I have! Isn't this how everyone gets around?

[No, seriously, isn't it? That's how everyone gets around in a world full of ninjas!]

[Leaps across another gap between roofs, tucking into a mid-air somersault as he does.]

Most people use cars. But find me a skateboard and I could really show you some moves.

[Waaaa--! So cool! This turtle is way more agile than Gai's turtle summon.]

What's a skateboard?

[He asks as he vaults a chimney.]

[Gaius is doing what he does best. It's better left unasked, as to the details.

Since he figures he'd be here for a while, he's been keeping an ear out for any information of interest, but there isn't any harm in making a bit of profit while he's at it, right?

It's about time for him to see how those pies are doing at the bakery, though. Pocketing his earnings from "helping" a vendor sell off items at their booth in the marketplace, he slips off just as quietly as he'd arrived, letting his hood fall back once he gets close to the bakery.

He'd coerced the owner into allowing him use of the oven in exchange for preparing a few pies. Claiming one from the batch for his own, he thanks them for their business and slips back out, fresh pie held almost reverently in hands as he looks for a suitable place to enjoy it.

-oh hey, now there's a face you can't mistake around here. Smirking, Gaius makes his way over towards the fountain where a certain turtle sits.]

[Cracks open an eye almost immediately when he hears the approaching footsteps. Seriously, he's never had the patience for this mediation stuff, he doesn't know how Master Splinter and Leo do it. Years of attempts and he still just finds himself getting annoyed when he has to sit motionless for so long.

He looks up since the footsteps getting louder indicate that someone is actually coming toward him, which is kind of unusual. Once he spots Gaius, though, he grins.]

Hey, man. [Eyes the pie.] Whatcha got?

Hey yourself.

[He smiles lazily in greeting, coming to a stop once he's about several steps from Raph. Tilting his head slightly at the question, Gaius glances down at his treat.]

Pie. Fresh baked.

[His brows go up.]

Did you make it yourself? Wait, do you cook? Have you ever had pizza??

Yep. Had to borrow the baker's oven, but it was for a good cause. Pie's one of my favorite things to make.

[He invites himself to sit down beside turtle-man so he can start cutting slices, nodding absently at the second question.]

I can cook, yeah. Nothing really extravagant, but I haven't had any complaints. ...what's pizza?

[Sitting around on the ship had been starting to drive Kasumi crazy, and without her technology to assist in her being invisible she had to resort to continuing her training. It wasn't everyday that you could see a sleek hooded figure vaulting over the edges of buildings with something clutched in her arms.

Of course when she spots Raphael she decides to catch up to him, trying to see who it is doing the interesting acrobatics.]

Nice back-flip. Haven't seen someone do that in a while.

[Shoots a started look her way, because he wasn't exactly expecting anyone to catch up or keep up, much less actually talk to him. He grins after a second as he launches himself across a wide gap to the next rooftop.]

Thanks. Stick around, you'll see a lot more like it.

[Now that he'd issued a challenge, she'd certainly keep up to him, following his path and vaulting across the gap to continue their pace across the rooftops.]

I'm sure I will if you can keep up.

[Giving him a cheeky little salute before doing a flip over the edge of a building to bounce off of an awning and up onto a balcony railing.]

[His own grin turns a little sharp as he picks up the pace and matches her moves, bouncing up to the railing before leaping off and swinging off a nearby rope hung between buildings as a clothing line. He flips through the air again, landing on another balcony railing in a crouch.]

Who says I'm the one who has to keep up, sister?

[Now this was a challenge, shifting the wrapped bundle in her arms she grinned and walked along the edge of the railing before leaping up onto the next balcony above to swing her way to land on the edge of a building then flip her way across to land on the balcony above his.]

That was just the training level, don't get ahead of yourself.

[She grinned at him, taking off at a fast run and quickly moving away across the rooftops in an elegant parkour style to stop on the edge of a chimney and glance back to see where he went.]

[Unlike Raphael who took his game upward, Hiccup stayed close to the ground around the town. Well, not too close – a figure of speech and his brand of practicality told him to stick to the streets. He still had a metal leg to get fully use to, after all.

It's not like he's been totally useless during this time. When he isn't checking the docks for ships that are coming in, he's been poking around everything else on his own. Or, as one would call it, some exploration and observation. Having to get use to the fact that no one else is a Viking is a little shocking to him, but after seeing how some of the natives act toward non-natives, he puts their behavior on par with them.

As he wanders, he thinks about the last conversation he had with Raphael about a man (a potential crewmate?) and a newly "acquired" ship. The turtle did say they were all going to meet up at some point. The only problem is there was no exact time or place for it.

He sighs.]

Well, they both have to be around here somewhere...

[Somewhere liiiike...jumping around right above you? Raph is leaping the gap between buildings, doing a somersault in the air, when he spots Hiccup down below. He skids to a stop once he lands, then backtracks to the edge of the roof to make sure it's actually him. Once that's confirmed, he grins and steps off, dropping down right in front of Hiccup and hitting the ground in a three-point landing before straightening up.]

Hey, man!

[He'll even throw in a little half-wave.]

[Yeah, he wasn't expecting that. After recoiling slightly, Hiccup blinks. Speak of the turtle. Play it off, man, all cool-like.]

Oh. Hey! I've been wondering where you went.

[Snorts, just raising his brows at him. But he'll be nice and not comment on that reaction.]

Just getting some exercise. What've you been up to?

Oh, you know, waiting for that ship to come in. Other than that, I've just been hanging around here.

[ Kosuiryo is shuffling about the docks, her long, heavy kimono train trailing behind her, and her long hair billowing in the wind. She's tied off her journal to her obi for safekeeping, but also so she could open it and write it if she felt the urge to speak aloud or write something down.

She's also carrying a small straw bag in which she's carrying interesting Surface people objects that she's found this morning alone. Forks, spoons, knives for butter. The Surface is just so interesting!

She stops her walk when something flies right by her peripheral, catching her attention. She turns and finds herself watching a large turtle perform a perfect flip in midair. She gazed in absolute awe and found herself clapping her hands, jangling her bag of Surface goods. ]

Wonderful!

[WELL, clapping isn't something he normally hears while training, so he jerks to a stop and turns to face her after she speaks. Habit has him giving her a slightly smug grin.]

Ten outta ten, right?

[ She nods. ] Oh yes! Absolutely ten. [ She supposes "ten" is good on the scale Raphael is using. ] You must have trained daily to be able to do such feats.

Pretty much. Daily for nearly fifteen years.

[Eyes her kimono.]

Are you from Japan?

[ Is that their word for home? ]

Nippon. [ She says with a nod. ] Are you familiar with Nippon?
