[Log || 002] Setting sail!

Who: Hazardous Materials (plus some Queen's Gambit & Brave Vesperia maybe?)
Where: On the seas! Somewhere.
When: 3/13 - 3/23
What: Learning how to sail this thing, meeting each other, prepping for Navy battles!
Warnings: Too much awesomeness on one ship.

General sailing log for the next week or so! Randomness and fun times and whatever we want!

[Toothless is just as ecstatic, and once they pull out of the loop and level out, he gives a triumphant roar and thankfully not one accompanied with a fireball.]

[He laughs, patting the Night Fury on the flat part of his head.]

We're in business! Good job, Toothless!

[Grunting happily, the dragon continues to glide, waiting for Hiccup's guidance, wherever they might end up going from here.]

Okay. Let's try something else.

[The gears shift again. Some quick runs should do it.]

Go, go!

[A powerful flap of his wings and then Toothless once again tucks them close as they fly closer towards the water.]

[Better. Much better. This is the speed he was going for and Toothless does not fail to deliver.

Now, if only there were some tall precarious-looking rock formations standing around for them to make an impromptu obstacle course.]

[The landscape (seascape?) out here was severely lacking by opinion of the daredevil.

Toothless continues smoothly along, however, casting a glance back at his copilot.]

[Hiccup makes a face, but he sounds reassuring.]

Yeah, I know.

[A nudge and a light turn is given as a signal.]

Who would've thought this place would be so...open?

[Looking frontwards again, Toothless carries them around at Hiccup's touch. His eyes scan the waters as they soar above them, perhaps looking for any quick snack to snatch up while they're at it.]

[Two birds with one stone. Circling Isla Empieza helps him get a better idea of how big the island is. Location, placement, whatever else is around there, it all seems to mesh together.]

[Wings beating rhythmically to keep them aloft, it seems that there aren't any signs of fish to catch. Toothless will just have to wait until they get back to land, then. For the time being, he enjoys being able to see the island from this perspective, and at their leisure.]

[Had Hiccup a little more multitasking skills, he could have sketched all of this out while flying. However, taking a break from everything clears his head.

He'll guide Toothless around a bit more before directing him back toward the docks. There's little else for them to do here, and thinking up possible flight strategies isn't coming to mind as quickly as he needs it to happen.]

[They probably shouldn't push themselves anyway, although the flight seems to do good for Toothless as well. He's glad to have been able to stretch out his wings, and so he's in a better mood once they return back towards the docks, whether they startle some people there or not.]
