[Log || 002] Setting sail!

What: Learning how to sail this thing, meeting each other, prepping for Navy battles!

Man, if only. I’ve already been told I can’t try to jump overboard for no reason. Bogus, I know.

Probably to save anyone else the trouble of having to fish you back out. Can't say that I know what all else is swimming around under there, either.

That’s the best part though! There might be some fish down there that are ultra cool. And can you see tying a rope to the back and water skiing if it was sailing fast enough? Seriously, a boat could be a lot of fun. And if I dive off with a rope tied to my shell, I should be fine!

[His smile turns lopsided at that, and he just shakes his head as the turtle goes on.]

Try that now and I think you'd just sink. Don't know if I'd recommend diving with a rope either, but if you end up doing it, can't say I didn't warn you.

[Look at this pout. He’s frowning, looking at this guy carefully. then he sighed, deeply.] Alright, fine. No rope swimming. Yet. Mikey, stay out of the ropes. Mikey, stop diving into shark infested waters. Mikey, no.

[he waved this all off though, shaking his head] This boat thing could be really awesome if I could do anything cool.

[he was smiling though, none the less.] I’m Mikey, if you didn’t just get that, dude. Who’re you?

Hey, it may not sound fun to you, but I'm sure your brothers have your best interests in mind.

[He eyes the blade of his knife after running the whetstone over it once more before nodding to himself.]

Name's Gaius. I think Raphael mentioned you when we were talking about pizza.

Yeaaaah. Either that or they just like being a buzzkill.

[He rolled his eyes and came closer, coming to sit on something near the other. Looking interested.]

Nice to meet cha Gaius. If there was table about Pizza, it had best include me. I intend to learn the proper way of making the most perfect pizza in all of pirate land.

[Tucking the knife back into a sheath in one of his tabi-toed boots, Gaius next eases out the steel-bladed sword he carries, giving it a look over before he gets into the rhythm of honing its blade next.]

Oh good. We gave it a good shot with what we had- first time I ever made it, and mostly I was going along with Jumpstart's description.

[Oh, he means Raphael, by the way.]

Pretty basic. Dough, cheese, tomatoes and sliced sausage. Wasn't bad- not that I've had any to compare with.

Wasn’t BAD? Wasn’t bad? really? Man, Pizza is the best stuff in the world. There is nothing better than pizza! I know what to do to put on it, I just have to perfect making a crust. That’s the hard part.--Whoa, wait, do you cook? So do I!

[pause..... oh wait] Jumpstart?

Guess you'll have to give me pointers, then. But yeah, I cook a little. Prefer baking.

[He smiles lopsidedly.]

Dude, yeah. No problem. I’m still learning to cook as well. Haven’t mastered it, but I’m darn good. Baking though? Not so much.

[whoa man, you nicknamed his toughest brother. Admiration to that.]

That... is cool. How’d he get that name?

I'd like to think I've got a decent grasp on cooking, myself. Baking's fun because I like experimenting with things. ...and I like sweets.

[A shrug.]

Oh, I dunno. Seemed fitting enough. He likes to get right into things, no hesitation. Least, that was my first impression of him. How many guys around here arrive and not a couple days later decide they wanna go after Davy Jones?
