INTRO LOG: APRIL 2014

WELCOME NEW CHARACTERS!
Have an intro log for the month of April!

Who: Any and all new characters, as well as anyone hanging out on or around Isla Empieza!
Where: Near the fountain in the town center.
When: New characters will arrive around April 9th! The log is good for as long as you need it.
What: You've just been dropped on your head in a weird new world. Time to figure out what the heck is going on!
Status: VERY OPEN.

The day begins gray and drizzly, the miserable sort of rain that just makes everything muddy and unpleasant. Just the luck of the locals of Isla Empieza that these April showers bring more outsiders instead of May flowers. As the day goes by, the rain gets heavier and the locals get surlier. Lucky for you you have that message in your journals telling you to get moving and find a crew, huh?

Feel free to throw your characters here if you need a place for them to get situated and start figuring things out! Start new threads, tag into others, meet the people who might just become part of your crew! Older characters will be in and out, too, depending who is on the island at the current time.

[catches her shopping around purely incidentally. She's a little short for him, then again so is everyone, it seems. But she's brightly colored and not uncute. And, so, at some point, Ranma will have an extraordinarily tall man lean to look down at her a bit from the outside doorway, hands folded in his pockets]

You're a busty young miss. Are you free tonight?

[he's probably just seeing what she'll do. Maybe. Possibly. He could be entirely serious. He hasn't made up his mind yet]

[After this failed attempted, he had his head down, contemplating his next move until he caught a glimpse of a pair of legs. And they kept going. And going.

[Wait a second. The guy seemed pretty gross, but at this point she wasn't near anyone or anything familiar. Plus, he didn't seem like the kind of person anyone would even think about messing with. Might be useful! With an innocent, sheepish grin she responds:]

...eheh. Sorry about that. I uh, haven't made any plans yet. I'm kinda new here. [Work the charm, Saotome!]

[Not so quick on the uptake was she? Not the most ham handed switch from antagonistic to friendly he'd ever seen, but pretty far up the list. She was still trying to get her bearings in this place, it looked like, and he wouldn't mind bearing with her for a while despite the fact that he was going to get a crick in his neck from doing so]

It seems a few people are. [he straightens and rubs the back of his neck]

Pretty inconvenient if you ask me... [he glances down at her again]
