*Selphie visibly flinches when he calls her 'woman' like that. No one has ever called her that, in such a tone of voice, but it feels horrible. She can't help but stare at him after that, waiting for what he has to say. But there he goes again, bending her words, making her seem like some kind of cruel, cold-hearted bitch. Then he calls her childish, continues to explain how he just doesn't care. Selphie takes a few steps back then, doing her best not to break his glare, doing her best to try and stand up for herself.
She takes a deep breath as he begins to walk away, her mind reeling with her options. A part of her wants to cry, at the frustration at being treated this way, and how little he really does care, and at the nasty way he has spoken to her. But something inside her snaps. She doesn't have to worry about any other feelings that she has for him anymore. There's not a relationship here that she's desperately trying to maintain. This is, as he's said, nothing, and he makes it perfectly clear just how much he wants rid of her. But that's not fair*
No.
*That's all she says at first, but as he moves past her side, she turns and shoves her fist against his shoulder, giving him a violent push. It's almost a punch, if not the strongest one she can manage*
You don't get to boss me around, Ikki. You don't get to tell me what to do. If you want rid of me that much, then stop trying to "see me" without being near me. Who do you care who I spend my time with anyway? That is none of your concern.
I tried to have a conversation with you. I tried to be friendly. And what I get is this. You don't get to push me around, Ikki, treat me like shit, and then give me warnings. I don't know what the hell you think you are, but you do NOT have power over me.
[He hears the first word, and recognizes the tune that tends to follow it. It's the same tune Saori would give him, even if Selphie adds a physical aspect to it that the other wouldn't.
It doesn't really matter. He has no interest in whatever she wants to say or however she wants to bend his own words to feel more special or play the role of the victim even more.
So instead of listening, or stopping, he continues moving and focuses in finding Marco. Her words become little more than a buzzing sound and as soon as he finds Marco, Ikki leaves in a flash of light and a loud banging sound, moving at top speed before she even finishes. As if she wasn't there, as if there was nothing that held his interest there, because that's exactly what he thinks.]
