[Seishin's gaze briefly fell on the island, before he was somewhat uncomfortably looking back to the doctor.]
I see. [He folds his arms over his midsection, book being tucked under one.]
In a way, it reminds me of the book I read on Mount Sinakara- because, it's not that you're in a good mood. You seem to have nearly made a full recovery, physically.
[His smile widens, a mischievous look entering his brown eyes for a moment before being suppressed.]
That's true, but that doesn't mean I'm not also in a good mood thanks to being recovered so soon.
[Not to mention Seishin had decided to join the spades, and not just that but stayed on the moon with him. He may not have been given a choice in the matter but who cares.]
[He walks up to Seishin, carefully getting closer.]
[There's just the faintest wary glance being sent Toshio's way]
Ah, yes, that would make perfect sense...
[He shift in his stance, instincts making it clear that he should perhaps...climb up to the crow's nest. Green eyes slowly drift toward Toshio's closed hand, head tilting a tiny bit.]
Is there something you need...?
[A nice passive way of saying he suspects that Toshio is up to something, in spite of not having the faintest clue as to what it could be. The tone in his voice might make that fairly clear, as well.]

Seishin glances up at Toshio, quietly closing the book. As he lowers it, he shifts his gaze away from his friend.]
I'm managing. [Lets out a sigh, then glances back at the doctor.] If you're asking if I'd be able to go onto the island, the answer is no. [Pause.]
You seem to be in high spirits. [TOTALLY NOT A SUBJECT CHANGE, OR ANYTHING. Totally.
Of course, it's nice to see him in a good mood, so it is a legitimate observation, as well.]

And the air it lets off seems to have a pacifying agent to it.
