A-ah, well... [Wow, that's quite a bit of questions all at once.] My name is Seishin Muroi. I've published several novels [More like ten], a collection of short stories, as well as some essays regarding the village I lived in.
[There's a pause.] I suppose, if you're from Earth [Since he's discovering there's quite a few that...apparently aren't?], there's a chance you might have. [There's a faint smile.] What sorts of things do you read?
*Selphie smiles up at him and nods at her own statement - he looks very clever, too*
Sadly, that's not the world that I'm from. Do you have any books with you? I'd like to read one! Normally, I read fairytales...or romance stuff. But there's enough time on the ship to read anything, really.
[Cool? Well, it's not the first time he's heard that word, used in that way. He has dealt with children, in the past.]
Yes, I...suppose so.
[The question throws him off, somewhat, however. However, he simply offers her a light smile. He can't actually help it- her cheerfulness is making it difficult to not smile.]
What if I said it's technically going to be about all of us?
[The smile holds, though this time it's out of amusement.]
You'll have to wait to find out. [Closing his eyes, he casually moves the book just out of her visual range.] You wouldn't want to risk spoiling the ending, before you even get a chance to read the beginning, would you?
That will be determined by how much free time I have to work. [To the question of if she can be first to read--] I'll think about it. [Pause.] What's your name, miss?

Indeed, I...was. This place has actually granted me quite a bit more free time than I'm used to.
[To the question about him having any books, he gives her a faintly apologetic expression.] Unfortunately, I don't.
[Glancing to the side, he closes the book. After a couple of seconds, he looks back at her.]
I'm actually taking notes for a novel I plan to write while I'm here.

*Selphie tilts her head and nods at his answer - maybe she could track one down from somewhere*
Hey - can I be a character in your book then?
*Doing her best to look at him in a way that means he can't say no*

Ooh, really? So I'm gonna be in it anyway?! You'll make sure I sound pretty right? The way you describe me?
*She looks at him rather seriously for a moment before bouncing closer and peering at his notebook, just in case he'd written about her already*

[He might just be teasing her.]

Good point! Wow - so - how long will it take for you to write it all? Do I get to read it first?

Selphie Tilmitt!
*And she thrusts a hand out towards him*
