For some reason, Ace felt like he was being pinned up as a villain. It was sort of true, what with villains hating adorable animals and wanting to eat them or something, but it wasn't a Disney movie! He was allowed to eat whatever he wanted if he could hunt it.
"...Yeah, but why would it bum Leanne out? Did she make friends with these guys?"
"I dunno. Maybe?" Selphie looked down at the slowly retreating creatures, and back at Ace. "But this is like, Leanne's island or something. I think she'd be quite upset cause... well, that thing about looking after all the living things, ya know?"
Selphie frowned at his irritation and waved her hands in a cross, signaling that perhaps he should stop being so grumpy. "Maybe so, but this place is like Leanne's home, so we should do as she likes. You don't wanna upset her do you?"
