[It isn't the least bit logical, it's just that the strangest feeling was coming off that entire island and all of his senses felt like they were on fire, telling him to get away. Naturally he can't just do that, so he's hiding at the furthest point he can find.]

[That, at least, is true.]

[Oh yeah, he can hear him.]

[Now he was just speaking in a normal voice, why strain it if he didn't need too? Also that's what fear is.]

You're probably reacting because it's a holy forest.

[And he is beyond amused, kid. This is officially his new favorite island.]

[He leans over the edge and glares at him a little.]

I don't want to come down.

[That would make sense from what he remembers, but all the same, getting closer to the ground isn't something he feels that keen on doing.]

[Fine. He can comply with that, can't he? Natsuno leans over the edge of the crow's nest, looking at the way down.

He feels a tingle through his skin, a shiver down his spine. Warning that he better not get any closer. He grits his teeth and starts down slowly. Yeah. Laugh Toshio.

At the halfway point he lets go of the mast and lands his feet on the deck.

No, no, no his body seemed to scream at him and he glanced around quickly, before taking off for the stern. It's not quite as good as the crow's nest, but it's as good as it's going to get without him being in the water. He steps as far back against it and sits on the railing.]

Okay. I came down.

[Seriously. Shut up.]

[Look he tried not to laugh, he really did, please believe him! But when Natsuno jumped down and ran across the ship he couldn't hold it back anymore. And he has to bend over, a hand clasped over his mouth as his shoulders shake.]

Oh man, fuck.

[Can't breathe! Help!]

Ahh....I'm sorry, don't kill me.

[He stops, panting for a while as he regains his breath. Damn he needed that though. But he also really didn't because now he was going to his knees. Ohhh...it was worth it but goddamn he's tired now. Whoo, loosing blood really made you dizzy.]

[Killing Toshio would mean going back there, closer to the island.

Instead he will just glare the glare of doom at him.]

[Yes, because he's never had that glare directed at him before, nope, never. After all they got along so brilliantly in the past.]

[He looks up and catches that glare, still smiling.]

[Eventually he does get up and makes his way over to the boy, not really afraid of what he's going to do.]

[If Natsuno was the type of person to do something about it, he might have to worry, but fortunately that is not the case.]

[Now that he knows Natsuno isn't going to kill him, he gets closer and leans against the railing, still dizzy and now feeling more of an effects from the blood loss.]

[And with that he takes out a cigarette and lights it up, taking a long drought before blowing it out and ruining the once pure air.]

I just want to know if...what happened to my father. The Tanaka kids and Tohru's family. They were alive when I left, I guess I'd just like to know if they're okay.

[Relatively of course. He's aware his father completely cracked.]

[Well, that wasn't what he had been thinking about, but it was something he was open to discuss.]

You saved those kids. I saw both her and her brother before arriving here; they were worried about you and everyone. I suspect Tohru's family got away, since his father had decided to leave rather than fight.

I gave them that option for a reason, it's not an easy thing, fighting against someone you loved, or finding out they had turned into a monster. Tohru and Ritsuko were found together by Tamo Sadafumi’s group towards the end.

And your father, well, he seemed a lot better the last time I saw him. Now he can grieve properly so, I think he'll do fine. [he glances over at Natsuno, it can’t be an easy feeling, knowing your death is what your father needed to regain his mental health. But maybe he’ll be comforted by knowing as well.]

[He closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. No, he'd known that. He knew being around him was probably exacerbating the problem.]

I'm glad. Really.

[Natsuno isn't sure what to make of things for Tohru, except that now he can rest and that's all that matters really.]

[He watches the kid for a few moments before turning away again and taking a drag of his cigarette.]

Speaking of home, I'm sure you've noticed already, but Seishin is on board the moon.

[Thank god for that, he doubted Natsuno and the other Jinrou would last very long stuck together.]

[A frown tugs at his lips a little bit. He hadn't noticed. This island is wreaking havoc on him.]

[If he focuses, he can sense him, just a little bit.]

[He's just going to stare at you Natsuno.]

[This island was certainly having a strange effect on the other. What did he think he meant when he mentioned the blood loss? But it didn't really matter, and probably best he forgets about that.]
