Serenes Island Kraken Barbecue
Who: Spade Pirates, anyone else on Serenes Island back on April 13th
When: Backdated to April 13th a few hours after Ace's announcement of kraken eatables for everyone
Where: Serenes Island
What: Biggest barbecue as prepared by an amazing chef. Hope you all like kraken!
Warnings: None(?)
Style: Starting in prose but you pick!
Status: Open to all Spade Pirates and anyone else within smelling distance. All who are hungry will be fed!
With the kraken that Ace caught, Zeff got the opportunity to really flex his cooking muscle. It had been a while since he'd gotten his hands on a beast that size, and every morsel of it was going to be cooked. After all, Ace had announced it was going to be on the menu. Who was this chef to deny his captain?
He'd worked quickly and efficiently, butchering the great beast to separate out the different parts. Then had come the process of cooking it all. The smells coming from the outdoor kitchen he'd had set up would be enough to make anyone's mouth water: takoyaki (practically a requirement), pickled kraken, grilled kraken, kraken ink pasta, and the suckers both fried and made into soup. Of course, there were other foods on the menu to complement the meal: bread, fruits, vegetables, but the focus was largely on the remains of the beast that Ace had provided them.
Zeff set out the last of the drinks before bellowing, "Come and get it!"

"Woohoo! It's been awhile since we've had some! Thanks for the eats, Zeff!"

"How are our supplies doin' with the takoyaki? It's probably gonna use a lot of our flour, huh?"

"Thanks for the meal!"
He began eating, chewing and swallowing quickly so he could at least get a bit of the taste in to continue the conversation safely, "Noted. Ahhh, so are the preserves keeping well? It's been awhile since I've salted anything, so I assume the supplies are fine."

"Wait, I can't tell the difference. You can swap that stuff out that freely?"

"That's incredible! I didn't know gizzards could get made that fine! It was really smooth gravy, too!"

Another reason he would make a separate gravy for the birds: One of them would probably faint if they ate it by accident.

"We gotta stop talking food, Zeff," Though, Ace was realizing it to begin with. "I don't think my stomach's gonna be able to handle that kinda chat."

And a big old smirk from the old chef.

Even if the crew would.

Over this island. Good food makes up for the insult of this place! Ahhh, I'm happy!

Ahh! Anyway! I'm tired of talking about myself!
Where did my precious chef learn to cook so well!?
And here's where I start making up things...
Not long before I first went to sea as a ship's cook, she ended up having to close down her restaurant due to an accident in the kitchen which damaged the nerves in her left hand. Had one last sample of her food, and it wasn't quite the same. Started developing my kicking style so I wouldn't add more risk to my hands after that.
we can erase their memory if there's ever a flashback!!!
Oh. So, that's why you only attack with your legs.
INDEED.
