If we can travel in one direction, we can travel in the other. We simply need to find the means to do so. The gem may indeed be that means.

Or whatever the secret is. I still am not certain the jewel itself is the key. There's a lot of ambiguity written into that poem.

At the least, I might start understanding all of you a little better. I can't imagine the world that produces such amazing strength in so many forms.

Magic is all well and good, but versatility is a foundation of combat effectiveness, is it not? Besides, I suspect I can modify some of these.

[Magic-powered firearms, anyone? Ought to be quite useful, in Celestia's opinion. At the very least it is a project, something to work on now that the shine is starting to wear off of having no responsibilities.]
