[Drags him out of the water and over to the other slide.]

Because it's a slide! You're supposed to do it. [feels better out of the water and manages to stand on his own, shaking his hair out]

Weren't you the one who just said 'slides work however you want?' Maybe I want it that way.

[Just enjoy having Zoro, with his older sensibilities and such, climbing on slides with you, Luffy. He goes up first, this time, so he can settle in and let Luffy climb on his shoulders.]

[oh. okay. He climbed up after Zoro and was really tempted to kick him down the slide in revenge but... He was really tired of holding his breath and he wanted to go with him.

So he climbs up on his shoulders and throws his own arms into the air]

LET'S GOOOOO!

[see? they both get what they want this way. Cue Zoro hanging on to Luffy's legs to keep him from tumbling as he pushes off. Curly slide is GO!]

WAHOOO!

[yeah this is a lot more fun! And when they splash down in the pool he doesn't even worry because he knows that Zoro is going to pop them right back up again]

[that's right. Thanks to Zoro, there will be no drowning rubber men today. And now Luffy is taller than everyone.]

There, now you've tried them all. [and he's soaking wet down to the bandages, oops]

Thanks, Zoro. [water is still wet though and so he slumps a bit, folding his arms over Zoro's head and resting his chin on them] Now let's take a nap!
