Manly Drinking Times
Who: Marco, Thatch, Logan, Namur, Roxas, Vyse, Chandra, Natsuno, and anyone else who wants in on this drinking game
Where: The Sun! And the Moon! And all the ships in between
When: Sunday May 4th, pursuant to this hilarity
What: MANLY DRINKING TIMES
Warnings: Ehhhhh ARRRRR For Rum. And drinking. And war. And fuck who knows what else, remind me to update if needed.
Status: OPEN!!!
Marco quickly set up a couple of kegs at the ready for the drinking party. Because it was just plain necessary, and a lot like old times. The last two weeks were still weighing on Marco's mind. War, Peace, phoenixes. Was it a good idea to really enjoy war so much? Was it a bad one? Maybe it was inevitable, so he might as well enjoy it. Like life, right? Or should he not encourage it just because it was amusing?
It was too much of a headache, that's why he was just going to drink.
He also set up some non-alcoholic drinks for Leanne and everyone else. Green tea, fruit juices, but they were all clearly marked.
Marco gave a quick piercing whistle. "OI SPADES! Roll call and drinking games!"
And maybe drunk board games, he would blame that on Ace though.

Okay, partially. Honestly, he was mostly on board for the "roll call and drinking games" get together because a lot of other people were on board for it and it seemed like the opening to a pretty fun night. Their last party kind of got tossed out the window, after all. People having good fun together was always okay in his book.
And so it was that Bolin, with a mug of his own, situated himself in the chair opposite of Asami's. Across a table was way better for talking than having to crane his neck to one side all the time.
"Let me guess: can't come up with a great toast on the spot." He could totally relate to that.

It was also nice to have familiar company around and Bolin was always the one to try to put a positive spin on everything, even if that wasn't the best move all the time, but now? Asami appreciated it.
She let out a small laugh at that and let the bottom of her mug rest on the table. "I'm having a hard time trying to come up with anything to say actually. Are you in the same boat?"
Aha...boat.

Go figure.

"Maybe you can still try to apply a similar method?" Which brought up another matter she's been thinking about for a while now. "Have you guys ever thought about bringing pro-bending here?"
Not on the ships for obvious reasons, but you know...

It was still so weird to think about the last time he was in a proper pro-bending match. Almost felt like forever ago. "I bet it would be so fun to throw a match together sometime. Ace seemed really interested when I was telling him about it, too, so maybe we'll be able to try it!"
no subject
"Yeah maybe. Though I thiiiink you'd have to find more earth and water users before you guys could have a proper match."
no subject
"Yeah, probably." That might be a little tougher to manage. But not impossible to ask around about. What with all the magical books. Really, the more he thought about it, the more exciting it sounded. A match! Here! (Well, on an island somewhere, where there was more actual earth for an earthbender to bend.) "Just means we'll need to do some scoping. I mean, there have to be a few of those around in this world somewhere."
Ooh, maybe he could get acquainted with someone willing to trade bending lessons for boxing lessons. Two birds, one stone, everything coming up pro-bending.

"I don't know what island we're stopping by next, but keep your eyes peeled. I will too."

So.
Yes.
Thinking on it, he didn't have too much to follow that up with. A little bit of uncool hopefulness never killed a guy (that he's aware of). "You know me, I'm easy."
