Marco quickly set up a couple of kegs at the ready for the drinking party. Because it was just plain necessary, and a lot like old times. The last two weeks were still weighing on Marco's mind. War, Peace, phoenixes. Was it a good idea to really enjoy war so much? Was it a bad one? Maybe it was inevitable, so he might as well enjoy it. Like life, right? Or should he not encourage it just because it was amusing?

It was too much of a headache, that's why he was just going to drink.

He also set up some non-alcoholic drinks for Leanne and everyone else. Green tea, fruit juices, but they were all clearly marked.

Marco gave a quick piercing whistle. "OI SPADES! Roll call and drinking games!"

And maybe drunk board games, he would blame that on Ace though.

"One shot for every time someone gives Grell or her crew another reason to go crazy, two for everyone who says 'Oh shit' and that sort of thing. Three if the Sinewave ship gets lit on fire," Marco grinned evilly.

What was that about reasons to fear him?

He practically barked a laugh at that. "We'll all be smashed shortly. For just have that shit." He shook his head, taking another drink. "At least that's the kind of drinking game I can get behind."

This might be why he gets along so well with you weirdos.

"And that is the idea," Marco laughed. "We might have to teach the young'uns 'I've Never' too, so that they have a chance to actually beat us at something, eh?" That, and it would keep the youngest of the crew from drinking too much hopefully.

Getting completely sloshed wasn't the best idea. They'd go through all the booze on the ship, but... he liked it. Count him in.

However, he shook his head. "Most of these kids haven't ever anything. They'd all win and be sober at the same time. Doesn't sound like a good time for them."

"Good," Marco smirked deviously, "It'll give them incentive to be brave and go wilder next time. Besides, my goal is to make Nam-chan lose first. I'll start with swimming and work my way up from there."

He glances around for Namur and grins. If it had been anyone else on the crew, any of the kids, he would have called Marco devious. A bad influence. Since it was just Namur, he had to agree that this tactic could be interesting.

"He'll catch on, you know. Tart lobbing them back at you. Never has he ever flown, or something directed at you." Pause... "It should be interesting."

"Aye, but at least most of the kids have been swimming too, so I'll take a bunch of them down," Marco stuck his tongue out.

He's chuckling still, feeling... better about things lately. War or not, this all wasn't new to him, even if he didn't remember them. Times like this were to be enjoyed. "I'll have my own shot ready." A tip of his head, then a questioning look. "So, not to be nosy but, you never swam before your devil fruit dealy thing?" Such technical terms...

"Nay," Marco shook his head softly, "I can't even really remember much before meeting my Pops, and it feels like I've always been the phoenix."

He watched him for a long moment. Can't really remember much? "Sounds a bit like me. I've always just been the Wolverine, for all I remember." Though some things were coming back, here and there. He tipped his drink to him though, giving a light smile. "Anyway. To swimming being you winning card for a shitty game. Lets see how fast you get the rest of us drunk."

That got a good laugh out of Marco all over again, "Seeing as you'd have to practically drown me in the rum to get me drunk in return, aye. Consider it on, my friend."

“See, this is a problem with people like you and me. Takes way too much to get drunk on.” he said, finger pointing at Marco like this was his fault or something. Or at least like he knew what he meant. At least Logan can speed drink to feel the buzz for a bit. "We'll end up drinking all the kids under a table, and half the rest of em there too."

"Maybe we should invite some harder drinkers over just to make it a challenge," Marco nodded quietly over his own drink.

“You invite the harder drinkers and we’ll run out of booze to drink real fast.” He smirked at that though. “Sounds like fun.”

"That's the idea, eh?" Marco smirked right back.
